+jon davenport Superb idea. That one got by me. I usually just fight it or grab the knife. Thanks. I hope this helps others and I am sure it will George
I have a suggestion for a video. I would like to see the rest of your store. Maybe a quick walk-through with everything you have available. And again I very much enjoy your videos keep up the good work.
Got a question for you??? I have a peach 10 gallon jug of this stuff I wanna make into peach wine !! What’s your opinion?? Now this is the company they don’t have the peach listed but I’m using Amoretti infisher juice I can’t put up a photo or I’d send it to you but they are on line it’s a heavy pulpy sugary syrup no bad stuff in it to stop fermentation that can see should I follow your video for making wine from grape juice???? Let me know !!! Thanks
George I always enjoy your videos. I am trying to find a recipe to make Perry. I have loads of pear trees. tried to make some from scratch and the fermentation failed. Any advice would be great. or a recipe with correct amounts would be great.By the way I have a Kenmore water purifier that I use as a short cut still. You can take old wine that is non drinkable and run it thru the water purifier. 4 bottles will give you about 1quart of moonshine at 90 proof. the key is to shut off the purifier when you have a quart otherwise you have clarified wine. With the water purifier you can actually steal the buzz out of a bottle of wine or beer. I hope you can point me toward a good recipe for peery
Love my Fast Ferment. Just be careful not to overtighten any of the connectors. Already replaced lid and ball due to torquing to tight. But still easy to use. Is that just a spigot like you would put in your bottling bucket?
+Rhino12667 It is coming along just fine. I am very pleased with it. Almost time to stabilize and clear. Excited to get it done so I can offer free samples in the store.... George
Two essential questions that the instructions don’t address. First do you rack it after the primary fermentation is complete and before clearing and stabilizing? Second the instructions read (pertaining to the finishing blend) and I quote “Please refer to the label instructions on finishing blend and add it now” there’s no instructions on the finishing blend
Those instructions are located on the printed instructions that come with the kit. Yes, we rack (with the fast ferment it easier) just as we would any other wine. Hope this helps George
I was wondering if I could use you'r "Green Apple Delight" to make brandy with a simple mash instead of going through the messy process of the conventional method, or cheating, which I usually do.
+sam hunt Cheat until it makes you happy. In my opinion the final product is the focus as opposed to how you get there. Sounds like it would work fine to me. I would also make sure my gravity was a bit higher than 1.057. Maybe add more sugar. This is great; we are both thinking out of the box so to speak. Keep it up. George
+sam hunt Yeah, That would be a good target and probably the lowest I'd attempt for distilling. Anything lower and I feel as though I am distilling my life away since the quantity is much smaller. Kind of like taking the best path to use my time wisely. Thanks George
i know i'm a few years late but couldn't you use a filter of some kind to remove the leeds then pour the bottle back into the top. this way you lose even less wine
Some of yeast I use has been in my family for generations that they brought with them when they came to this country. Some I've been using for the last ten years.
I got these at a local scrub and uniform shop. I think they were meant for nurses or lab techs. I have since changed my wardrobe. I now have a Hunter Green barber jacket that has many extra pockets and is much cooler in the summer months. George
I have found that a regular beer bottle opener works good for getting the cap off of the concentrate bag. Great content!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge love these videos.
George, Do you personally use Chitosan and Kieselsol
when you make wine?

+Rhino12667 Exactly. Nothing special and very easy to do on your own.
George
Great. I will have to do that once this Riesling is done. Looking forward to following this Green Apple Delight.
+Rhino12667 How is the G.A.D coming along George?
+Rhino12667 It is coming along just fine. I am very pleased with it. Almost time to stabilize and clear.

I can’t seem to find part two of this video. Do you have a link?
There was no second part. What can I help you with? What did we miss?

I was thinking of a gravity of about 1.090.

Out of something like that...how much yield to cost per bottle? (Excluding all peripheral materials and sanitisiers)
I have never broke it down to that level. The best I ever did was to break it down to around $1.50 a bottle.
@@BarleyandHopsBrewing Good enough!!!
Is this pretty much cider

i want to take franchise from Green apple delight, can you help me?
Where do i find the carheart shirt you always wear?

Another video I'm just seeing. You make sense to watch and subscribe too.
Hey George you should do a video on sour mashing
+jeff thomas I'll add it to the list I have.
Thanks
George
the fast fermenter is not worth the money. good product "if you have the money for it" but not worth it.
