“I wish I was adopted”
There’s so much to unpack with that line
where's my fan reboot all about Gerbert an that kid
The most depressing response he could’ve given…
That line has the exact same vibe as the part in the Gerbert Christmas episode where they attempt to address “special needs”
the other kid I fully believe will grow up to overcome the effect of his parents' divorce, but this kid?? he gon need more than therapy
@Chad 007 woooo hell yeah it's finally here
For the first 30 or so seconds of the Binney segments, I was sure I was watching some weird Brutalmoose-style sketch joke lol. In fact, even after finishing the video I'm not sure that Binney wasn't just a big joke and didn't exist in the Gerbert videos at all, haha!
MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!!!
I was about to say, when I can’t tell if something is some bizarre brutalmoose sketch or a real thing in the actual piece of media it’s gonna be a great time.
It reminds me of the plays that my grandma's Church used to put on for kids (Mostly acted out by someone's grandpa, uncle, mom, dad, etc.) which looking back is both hilarious and heartwarming. Everything was done by someone's dad or uncle, it was all slapped together, but that's what made it so funny. They made props, they had entire sets. Moms aunts and grandmas helped with costumes and scripts. The adults had just as much fun as the kids I think! We have a few on VHS still. I'm not super religious anymore, but these adults acted their hearts out and really tried to make us laugh, and we did. They were very sweet people. I never forgot their kindness. Thanks everyone who helped out or showed up at CLF church (OC) ♥
@Chad 007 omg 😭
He edited that music right cause I thought I was in a horror movie.
There is no way Binney Brush is actually a real character, he is the funniest thing that has ever broadcasted on TV. He just does a line of coke and rambles at kids as his little passion project, I hope I can be just like him when I grow up
Binney is my spirit animal
Mixed beans😂
You know I actually met the a guy kinda like Binny Brush, yeah he was in this alleyway rambling about how some jaundice-ridden midget with cortisone injections ruined his career... and that Jesus was a communist lizard woman who stole his children from him....
....oh and strangest thing, while he was yelling and rambling he was holding an empty bottle of moonshine and it looked like it was chock full of bloody rotted teeth... and he was shaking it around like Binney in the video.
....I'm here all night because no one loves me. Try the veal.
He looks like Ian invented him as a joke but he's fucking real
I wish benny was my dad!
The sheer unimaginable terror I felt when I realized the paintbrush was a costume worn by a human and not a puppet.
My favorite man-made horror beyond comprehension
OH GOD. I mean, OH GERB.
I assumed it was wildly-out-of-budget CGI
I felt like whoever was in that costume *wanted* to be a drag queen, but was still heavily in the "I hate myself for being gay and or a transvestite" camp. It's the needlessly hour glass figure of the paint brush honestly.
@@zalphinianHow the hell did you get to that conclusion?
why would you bring my attention to this...
Of course Gerbert likes vanilla. I would honestly be surprised if he didn't.
liking vanilla is the only thing gerbert is right about
Vanilla keeps those carnal urges at bay.
Vanilla doesn't even taste like (default), it tastes like _Select flavour_
I’m sure he likes the faux vanilla and not any of that vanilla bean or French vanilla, thank you very much
Jesus says only keel it vanilla.
i was a chaotic child and i think if i had seen even one Binney segment it would have sent me into hysterics. i think he's hilarious man idk he's like a homestar runner rejected character
I want Binney to teach me how to draw a dragon
You're so right. He even sounds like he could be in a Powered By The Cheat toon
Binny seems like an absolute crackhead and i would have loved him as a kid
Idk how Ian didn't like him. Hes clearly insane and it's hilarious
sounds like something homestar would watch TBH
Binney Brush is like that one uncle that you really like, but you don't know why your mom says to keep away from him.

@@lawnside82 It was only a sip and we never went over 20mph, I don't know why my sister was so upset.
Binney sounds a lot like a an alcoholic art teacher that shows up drunk to his classroom
"I'M A MUSICIAN, AND I WROTE A SONG!" Has exactly the right amount of chaotic energy needed to feel out of place no matter where it's put...
......CARS, CARS, CARS, CARS

The inflection he used made me lose it LMFAO
This comment got me genuinely belly laughing because you're definitely right 😂 like I could not even think of a proper context where *_"I'M A MUSICIAN, AND I WROTE A SONG"_* can be used normally.
This is compounded even further that this Gerbert Episode has a transportation-themed B-plot for some reason?
i sense more underlying rage in gerbert videos when compared to non gerbert ones. i think just the sight of him sends ian off the deep end
I mean he did say in one of his other Gerbert videos that Gerbert is his greatest enemy....
I concur sir. It honestly is about unbearable but Ian's rage and humor is pretty accurate for the vibes of this weird ass show.
I think it might be even truer and more complicated than that - I think Ian feels Gerbert's repressed rage, the hatred and loathing wrapped up in that tiny orange body, and has no option but to expel it, bringing it into the world in an agonised birth of perfect fury.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Definitely a tiny bit of vinegar in this vid.
I have reason to believe the Binney bits are actually Ian in a giant brush suite living out his dream being a part of a Gerbert show
I would legit watch a 30 minute show of that brush guy
Also "love is something you choose to do" is oddly profound for an orange preschooler
But then he ruins it with his raincoat metaphor
Vanilla is actually my fave ice cream, Gerbs knows his shit
Hey caddy

I've tried them all
I just love vanilla! Vanilla bean is delicious too.
Gerbicarus.
That Binny character look like something you'd put in your videos, bet he's friends with spons.
Your favorite ice cream is VANILLA? THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! NOBODY'S FAVORITE ICE CREAM IS VANILLA!
That little "Don't go away gerber gonna be right back" sounds like a child ghost whispering in your ear
It’s very crisp.
it sounded like a threat
6:31
I hated it.
Anyone else besides me questioning the point of "Don't go away gerber gonna be right back" on a VHS tape?
"I dunno he's pretty young. Looks a little green to me."
"Uh... I'm orange"
Genuinely lol'd, well done Gerbs
It raises so many questions. Do the humans know he’s orange? Do they think he’s a real sick child, or are they aware he’s a puppet? Why are they okay with this living puppet? Why aren’t they either running away from him, or trying to set him on fire as a blasphemy against the miracle of life?
@@C.V317probably Muppet rules. They're a mirrored species
Imagine finding out one day that you repressed the memory of _being_ Gerbert as a child. That would be absolutely horrifying.

I can't believe Binney Brush wasn't meant to be some villain for a "stranger danger" skit or something that dude is legit terrifying
It’s cause he’s a musician and he wrote a song
I trust him with my lifeb
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was creeped out by him!!!
He's definitely got the 'stranger danger' eyes
He dresses like my uncle who took up the "camp van life" in order to not pay for a place to live.
Binnie Brush haunted me as a toddler. I used to have recurring nightmares about him. I never remembered what show it was. Took me 20 years to find out where he came from/show he was in. Because no one I ever knew, knew what this show was or knew what the hell I was talking about. Thank you for covering Gerbert. You are the only one on RUclips who has. Always have been my favorite YT channel for a reason. I'm stumped as to why you don't have millions of subs at this point.
Binnie Brush scared me too.!!!!!!
(drunken ramblings) HEY HEY WHAT DO YA SAY KIDS?!
This beast. This goblin. I thought I forgot him
he haunted your nightmares and he wrote a song
Glad I am not the only one who he terrified!
I mean this brush reminds me more of a sadistic serial killer than a kid show
While watching this I thought the different colored part of Binney's sunglasses were just a shade or reflection so they're not one color. Then later noticed they were his two eyes staring at me and became increasingly agitated.
Why did you have to point that out
To anyone who is curious, one of the two brothers, the one who questioned why he couldn’t be the assistant editor, is an actor who played “Eddie” in the TV miniseries of the Stephen King Book “IT”. His name is Adam Faraizl. It lists “Gerbert” in his IMBD.
Thank you, I can sleep peacefully now 🙏
I really hope that " I'm a musician and I wrote a song" is used as a sample for many songs to come

I literally cannot count on one hand how many times throughout the day I say, "I'm a musician and I wrote a song." Since this video was posted.😂
The freaking car song has been in my head since last month
_CARS CARS CARS CARS_
I now just will randomly mumble 'mixed beans' every now and then
OH NO. The first time I watched this, I thought Bennie Brush's eyes (which you can see through the sunglasses) were just a reflection on the glasses. He's WAY scarier when you can see his eyes.
Oh good god I just noticed. It makes him look like an analog horror character
Why. Why did you do this?? Some of us were in ignorant bliss!! Is this what Adam and Eve felt like when they ate the forbidden fruit?!
OH GOD I SEE IT
Why did you do this to me? 😭😭😭
Binney seems like some kind of Adult Swim surreal horror parody of kid's craft shows, and feels wildly out of place in Gerbert.
He straight up sounds like a Justin Roiland character
It's his lack of an indoors voice that does it
😂😂😂
and the fact that hes just in a black void 🤣
Between the black void and the sound of his voice, it feels like a Residents bit.
He sounds like a drunk uncle
If Binny Brush gets a spin off show I'll donate all my money to orphan chicken nuggets
After the Rings of Power flop, Amazon Studios is looking for new properties. Watch out.
Is that a donation to chicken nuggets who are orphans, or a donation to orphan (as in the verb) chicken nuggets?
If it's the latter then I'll happily orphan some chicken nuggets for free. 😋

This is giving me a lot of nostalgia. I never watched Gerbert, but Binney sounds like a dollar store Bobcat Goldthwait, and brutalmoose sounds like Weird Al

I don’t know why but just the way he said it made my day
He said it the way Cotton Hill would talk about fighting in a war
"I LOVED SNIPIN THEM NAZIS"
I laughed loud enough to wake up my kids during the “come on Gerbert, there’s no mental gymnastics you can do to justify keeping the money…ITS A MIRACLE!” bit 💀 😆
I was kinda hoping that the old lady would try to guilt him, and then he’d slap her to the ground and call her a heretic for not believing in God enough to see a miracle when it’s right in front of her. Then he’d gather all the kids to sing-chant “Burn the Nonbeliever” while gathering sticks to set her on fire.
Oh lolll I misheard. I thought his reasoning was ITS AMERICA!! Which made me laugh equally hard

so true, its rly sad how often adults just completely belittle kids simply bc theyre kids
Yes and no. There are still some topics that kids just simply won't understand and will go over their head
I mean "kids are stupid" is a generally accepted knowledge
Totally. I'll watch parents engage in weird displays of power, while belittling their kids for every damn thing, and treating them like they're dumb. Then the kids hit their teen years and the parents pretend that "teenagers are difficult."

Which FEN? Japan, Okinawa, the Philippines, or Guam?
When I was like 12 to 15 we didn't have cable (and this was way before streaming or wifi - I'm old, RUclips wasn't even around yet for part of this timeline), and on Saturdays starting at 11 am my tv antenna would lose reception for every single channel except Trinity Broadcasting Channel, which is a free over the air Christian channel. So I've seen so many Christian-oriented children's programming, so many times, but have somehow never heard of Gerbert before this channel.
But McGee and Me? Bibleman? Kids Ten Commandments? Greatest Heroes and Legends of the Bible and its sort of sequel the animated version of Ben-Hur? Check.
