    hi, warranty?? that after installing the speedbox 1.1, the bosch system disables the tuning and puts the bike into emergency mode after driving 100-200 km. Or is the bike owner willing to take this risk??? Can you take responsibility...?
    Thank you for your respectful reply

    • @SpeedBoxTuning

      Hello.
      If you follow the recommendations on our site, limp mode should not appear. If you take the e-bike to a service station, uninstall the SpeedBox first so that your warranty is not compromised. Otherwise, the e-bike owner is responsible for the warranty. Thanks for understanding. www.speedbox-tuning.com/p/p-speedbox-1-1-for-bosch-smart-system#1922

    I had 2 detectons in previous 1.0b before i returned my speesbox. 35km/h would be enough for me but the other hassle you need to do to awoid detection everytime you stop riding is not good. One time you forgot to do those "manouvers" and its game over.. limp mode again. Maybe someday there is a product wich work without a risk of detection..

    • @SpeedBoxTuning

      Hello.
      We are aware of your preliminary considerations regarding our product. However, Bosch systems are deeply committed to detecting tuning, which is why some unpopular measures are necessary to prevent tuning detection as much as possible (for example, the recalibration of mileage - „the countdown“).
      We recommend increased caution if another manufacturer claims that countdown is not necessary, as it is technically impossible. Recalibration is always required, but for some tuning models, it may occur discreetly in the background.

      Hello.
      Thanks for your feedback 🙂
      Generally, SpeedBox has 1.1. a slightly different way of communicating with an electric bike. It has the ability to set its own maximum speed. Compared to the previous version 1.0, it does not show real speed. The displayed speed is about 10 km lower than the actual speed. We also recommend not to increase the maximum speed setting above 35 km/h. It is one of the recommendations to avoid the risk of tuning detection.

      Hi.
      The previous software update to 11.13.0 by the manufacturer Bosch was a big complication for all tuning manufacturers. New chips were easily modified, but chips made before 05/2024 are not compatible with the software anymore.
      At the moment we would recommend the SpeedBox 1.1 for Bosch, or the SpeedBox 1.1 B.Tuning for Bosch (with Bluetooth and compatible with the SpeedBox App).

      Manufacturers of e-bikes with Bosch motors and the Smart system devote a lot of effort to detecting tuning. That's why we developed the new SpeedBox 1.1 product with "simplified" communication compared to the previous version SpeedBox 1.0 to eliminate the risk of tuning detection. What do I do if it’s put my bike into limp mode? My motor is jerking because it’s stopping and starting

    • @SpeedBoxTuning
      @SpeedBoxTuning  Месяц назад

      Hi.
      Here are our recommendations on how to avoid the error:
      We strongly recommend using other safety features and protective gear to prevent injuries.
      We recommend not updating the firmware of your e-bike. Updating increases the risk of tuning detection.
      Please disable automatic updates in the eBike Flow App.
      Please note that the warranty of SpeedBox products does not apply to malfunctions caused by updating the motor.
      When stopping for a short time, in order to continue riding smoothly, we recommend keeping one foot on the pedal so that the countdown does not start.
      When stopping for a longer period of time, allow at least a partial countdown to take place.
      After a long ride, the countdown may take several minutes.
      Do not remove the display if the countdown has not been finished.
      Activate/deactivate the tuning before the ride (when the e-bike is standing still), not during riding.
      We recommend not to exceed a speed of 35 km/h.

    • @SpeedBoxTuning
      @SpeedBoxTuning  Месяц назад

      If limp mode ever occurs, we recommend the following procedure:
      Uninstall the SpeedBox from the motor.
      Ride the e-bike without assistance for about 90 minutes, sometimes less is enough. You don't need to ride all at once, you can interrupt the ride.
      Once the motor assistance is working again, ride at least 10 km, change gears and assistance modes. This will reset the system.
      Then you can reinstall the SpeedBox.

      If you don't have a display, you can still activate the tuning using the Walk function or by pressing the buttons + - + - (or - + - +). However, you won’t be able to see whether the tuning is active or inactive at that moment. You will only find out while riding.

    • @SpeedBoxTuning
      @SpeedBoxTuning  8 месяцев назад

      Hello.
      I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly.
      The maximum average speed of 35 km/h is recommended based on our experience. At that moment, the electric motor "thinks" it is going at a maximum of 25 km/h. Once you finish your ride, or if you pause for a few minutes, the actual kilometers traveled will be recalculated in the electric bike. Afterwards, the average speed and the actual distance traveled should align, which should prevent detection of the tuning.

An actual speed limit will be displayed after that. The maximum speed of an electric assistance can be switched by activating/deactivating WALK assist function shortly or by turning the rear wheel 360°. The value of 2.5 km/h on the display corresponds with the limit of 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds with 30 km/h, 3.5 corresponds with 35 km/h etc. The last displayed limit will be saved after 15 seconds of inactivity.

      @@PetrYansBurner When using SpeedBox 3.0 with Bosch motors of the 4th generation (produced in 2020 or later) it is necessary to leave the bike on after finishing the ride until a value of 0.0 km/h is displayed. During this process the remaining time will be displayed in minutes. Then it is safe to turn off your bike and you can start looking forward to your next trip.
      We do not recommend updating the software of the e-bike.

    What if you bike doesn’t have a screen?

    • @SpeedBoxTuning
      @SpeedBoxTuning  2 месяца назад

      Hello.
      If you don't have a display, you can activate SpeedBox in the classic way using the WALK function or using the - + - + buttons.
      You just won't see whether tuning is active or deactivated.
      For such cases, we recommend the B.Tuning version, which you can pair with our SpeedBox App via Bluetooth 🙂

      @SpeedBoxTuning what if I have already done the firmware update how high would be the risks of detection, has anyone tried it with the new firmware update, 3 of my friends have them on there bikes they got the speedbox 3.0 installed they fly and I'm sitting on 25km 😢 plus I spoke to one of the guys from the bike shop and he said that all of the bikes are already updated before leaving there shop

      @@tomejovanovski Hello.
      I'll try to explain in order 🙂 The 11.13.0 update does not concern tuning detection, it will only disable the activation and deactivation of tuning. It basically devalues our product. However, we immediately carried out a successful update of our products and are now releasing a version that is compatible with the latest update. If you have Bosch Smart System and update 11.13.0 already installed, you can order SpeedBox 1.1 for Bosch at our e-shop www.speedbox-tuning.com. We will ship from next week.

      Hallo. Das Smart-System von Bosch ist recht komplex und Bosch verbessert die Tuning-Erkennung ständig. Aus diesem Grund haben wir eine völlig neue SpeedBox 1.1 entwickelt, die auf einer anderen Art der Kommunikation basiert. Wir testen dieses Produkt Ende des Sommers und haben bisher keinen einzigen Fehler im Zusammenhang mit der Tuning-Erkennung festgestellt.
