When that happens, most food products (there are exceptions- commodity type) have a bar code and companies pay slotting fees to change any information. PRICES DID NOT FALL. I’m in the food industry. The sad thing is the food prices are not just going to go down. A food company has to take a long time to decide to increase prices. When that happens, most food products (there are exceptions- commodity type) have a bar code and companies pay slotting fees to change any information. Changing price, package size, ingredient labels etc usual costs a company upwards of 1mm. Do you think companies are going to lower prices??? No they aren’t. He’s lying. Like always.
