I dont think we realize how lucky we are to have videos from Gennaro for free on youtube. His skills are so sick.
anybody can tell me that dish doesn't need salt and pepeer. cuz i am afraid cooking without them.
Since we have Gennaro I stoped reading cooking books.
@@holabird6529 the pasta water probably has enough salt, but you could add some if you need to
@@holabird6529 Cheese usually has lots of salty flavor, too. And umami, which is very close to salt anyway.

Well, for Chinese stir n fry... You need a powerful stove top.. Not the case for gennaro s recipe, just pointing out...
I bought a small electric cooking stove to use it on my terrace in the garden. This was the first meal I cooked there. Felt a little like him, while showing my skills off to my guest. :)
Gennaro's narration is always like a beautiful, poetic aria straight out of the italian opera ^.^*
I love the way he just kinda throws the ingredients in there. There's a very human, down to earth, and realistic element to his cooking,

I went to supermarket today to buy other ingredients, to try on other recipes and my Arrabiata tasted reaaly good. How happy am I that I have found Gennaro's channel!! My husband just watched this video and it inspired him to haul his backside off the sofa where it has been placed for most of the day, and actually get into the kitchen to cook me something to eat. Com'n Gennaro... all of us love traditional way of cooking of the Mediterranean peoples, but the pan sits in the fire lit, not the extinct coal! Love your video by the way your cooking style is something between my grandma and a chef and that's the best compination! keep up the good work!

Gennaro , I noticed every Italian knows how to make it's own feta , mozarella , right ? well , so do I but it never gets that lovely and classy tasting flavour I'm used to , how about a dish with fresh homemade cheese but including the best flavour of a gorgeous mozarella , a feta , a peccorini , a .. a cheese !! Italian = perfection ( not to mention the entire Italy ) !!!
