Panel: Current and Evolving Trends in Public Land Recreation

Re-Creating Public Land Recreation Conference began with an opening panel at 8:30 am MT, "Current and Evolving Trends in Public Land Recreation" and featured:
- Vanessa Fry (moderator), Director, Idaho Policy Institute
- Bob Keiter (panelist), Professor of Law, Wallace Stegner Center of Land, Resources, and the Environment, University of Utah
- Megan Lawson (panelist), PhD., Research Lead, Headwaters Economics

All conference panel discussions centered on three themes in relation to Public Land recreation:
-Collaboration, especially working across jurisdictional proximities;
-Funding, especially to overcome infrastructure and operational shortfalls;
-Policy, especially shortfalls of current laws and policies.
