Here are a few more helpful links and instructions: If you're looking a shorter link to the HPM file, you can find it here bit.ly/3qxTXJd If the long URL in the description is giving you problems, use the biy.ly link to navigate to GitHub, copy the URL from your browser, and paste it into the Import field in Hubitat. There is also a dedicated community page on the Hubitat forum. If can be found here: hubitatpackagemanager.hubitatcommunity.com/
Thanks a ton Steve. Glad to be doing it again. Still finding my sea-legs, but it's coming back. Will have more new also in an upcoming live stream. Scheduled for Aug 24. More info coming soon.
John, this is a great video that tells a lot. But...! A little request: the background with flashing images and whirling dancers are - at least to me - annoying and distracting. Maybe use something else? Thanks!
Hi Grizz, thanks very much for the feedback. We were trying something new and weren't sure at all how it would be received. Never try, never know. Now we know LOL. Very much appreciate the patience and taking the time to comment. Cheers
@@DIYSmartHomeGuy1 FYI - didn't remember flashing or dancing, had to go back and find it. I guess i was so focused on what your foreground was showing that the background was ignored in my brain. Guess we are all wired differently.
Hey John, love your videos. I’ve had a Hubitat for several years and have upgraded to the C8. I’m struggling to find clear information on how to integrate my nest cameras with HomeKit through the Hubitat. I don’t know if you do this kind of thing professionally, in addition to making videos or if it would be possible to pay you to help with this?
Hi Rodney, It shouldn't matter Mac or PC. I'd try a couple of things to see if it gets you over the hump. 1. Check the URL - sometimes RUclips replaces longer URLs with a RUclips URL. If this is happening in the video description, follow that link and copy the URL from the browser URL bar. Paste that into the Import screen in Hubitat. 2. Make sure you have the entire URL from the description. At the front you should see 'https' and at the back you should see 'groovy' I don't have a Mac, but a friend does. I'll have him try it and see if he comes up with anything weird.

Thanks John, you have just rectified some issues that I was having with my C8.
I have no idea how I did that, but I’m very happy it worked out that way! Cheers
So great to have you back John!

@DIYSmartHomeGuy1 Looking forward to that John!

Hi @drewpost19 - thanks for the kind words. Sorry, but I don't do any consulting. Wish I could help.
John, which Hubitat hub does this apply?
I've used this on my C-8s and C-7. I've mothballed my C-5, so didn't test it there.
Do you have to be using a windows PC. I am an Apple user. I keep getting error message. Will not download.

Worked for me on Mac… are you sorted @rodney?
I do this with security but it just keeps giving me an error saying that my login info is incorrect.
Nevermind.... I deleted it and redid it all and it worked. Thanks!!
Glad you got it sorted.
