Before 6X04, i thought Wren was Charles, but now I just think he is Bethany's brother, both of them being Marion's (Toby's Mom) kids. I think that Bethany and Charles, were in love, and Jessica DiLaurentis took him away from her when Mr. Hastings found out about him. I think Charles might really be dead, and Wren is actually trying revenge his mother's death. I also think that Marion & Jessica are the twins of Ali's Halloween story. She was jealous of her sister's life; e.g. her family, her husband who I suspect was Scott Montgomery, Aria's uncle, and her overall happiness. What I still don't understand is the significance of the Campbell farm to the Hastings. In the season 5 finale, Mrs. Hastings says that the they use to take Spencer & Melissa there when they were young.
This is a really good theory! I love the video too. But after reading these comments I'm confused, I thought Charles was revealed to be A. At least that's what Marlene tweeted...

Madeline Verschuur really? my main suspect back then was ezra, wren only was a character that i hated ;) he got on my list of suspect when mona's code said: i miss my dolls = I'm MD since 307 then i've always look at him suspiciously

i do NOT take the same idea "reason to ship spoby" and use the same song. if/when i'll do it (it will take time cause i'm busy) i'll use some other reasons and a different song
B25Revi I think Wren stole Charles's story to avenge him because he is like his bestfriend. They met at Radley as kids. If Charles wanted to avenge himself he would have been recognize by his mother and probably Jason too. Now I'm 100% sure this not so random dude Colin, Wren's flatmate who was never mentioned before is Charles. Him and the kid in the video look at lot alike ! His voice sounded a lot similar than the person who said to Alison to look in the trunk of the car in 6x01. I'm telling you Colin is Charles. Wren is just A and a Montgomery so it's not possible for him to be a Dilaurentis.
