Thermodynamically, the small amount of Lithium you saw reacting released more energy than any other sample, even the Cesium which weighed nearly 20 times as much. Only hard to conceptualize due to the low ionization energy of Cesium and low activation energy on reaction with water. This only dramatically increases the rate of reaction, not the magnitude of total energy release.
