It's well worth it, is holding up well and I'm finding new exercises all the time I can do with it. Looking to release a power rack video soon on other unique exercises I haven't seen anyone else doing so look out for that 👍
Yes they work really well. I love the diy approach and am always thinking of new ideas with the power rack. My belt squats idea works well. When I priced up all the parts in this kit it made sense to get it, and its still holding up well to 3 x a week fully stacked loading pin. I'm working on some diy axle bars that will double as dip bars and some thick dumbell handles.
Great video! Quick question do you always need a some type of rack, can it be attached to a ceiling beam or something like that. Thanks for the feedback!
The kit comes with different chains and short straps so there would be options to attach to a beam if you could wrap those around it. I guess it would come down to the safety side with the load handling capacity of the beam. At least with my rack I know that handles well in excess of what the cable could load.
See I don’t have space for a rack or any kind of pulleys so I’m buying one of these and I’m going to rig it to a pull up bar in the doorway for when I workout. That way I can use it then put it away when I’m done everyday
Thanks , I'm glad you enjoy it. I'm enjoying blogging my fitness journey and anything that relates to that in hope it inspires others with their goals.
Thanks for your feedback I'm still building the channel and experimenting with the format, so can take that on board for future reviews. You will see for example my book reviews are a lot more direct.
Thanks for your feedback, this was an early video for my channel so trying different concepts. My videos are much more training focused now. Still using this pulley system in most workouts so is definitely worth getting one.
The weights do swing about a bit but most of my heavier lifts don't go near the window. It's the only space I can rig it up so it's making the best of what I've got.
Came for the review, got it, while also being entertained. Charming fellow
Looks great, thanks for that. I’ve been looking for ways to expand the use of my power rack. Just ordered it from Amazon.

It’s amazing how little is needed .
I have a couple of diy pulleys hanging off a squat rack

Thanks for the video dude
Your welcome 👍 if you want to see more of the pulley system in action check out some of my training blogs. It gets regularly used and works well.

@Dave8T9 Sounds like a good idea. It all packs away into a small bag so ideal for that as long as the pull up bar can safely handle the weight.
Great content

You could tone down the shenanigans and cameo cuts.

Anyone else worried about that window??
