I remember fighting Dvalin with Xingqiu, Xiangling, Kaeya, and Diona (Venti included because of quest). All of them (including Venti) died except Xinqiu, and Dvalin still had like 75% of his health left. Xingqiu destroyed the rest of Dvalin's health

@@abuk3871 everytime he or a character is surrounded by his rainswords, they regenerate hp when they expire or break. the rainswords also provide damage reduction. when you use his e or his alt(?) the character you are playing with is surrounded with rainswords. so he is very good.
edit: this is a somewhat short explanation of his abilities, but I hope you find it useful nonetheless
