About The Talk
This talk is about the beautiful avatar of Lakshmi in the form of Janaki, Maa Sita. This avatar of Lakshmi is something different from other avatars. In this Avatar of Sita if you take away Sita there is no story left in Ramayana. There is absolutely nothing left. That is why we choose to call it Sita as Tripuramahasundari. Her character is hidden through Valmiki’s work. This talk is an attempt to just scratch the surface, just look at some episodes that are connected to Sita. And look at how this can be interpreted and understood from a Shakta perspective.
About The Speaker:
Vinay Varanasi from Bengaluru, who straddles many worlds with aplomb. He is an architect and design researcher by profession (he’s the co-founder of Unbind, a design education startup), a classical music lyricist, a painter, and a storyteller. Although these look like different compartments, he believes one thing flows into another, working to his advantage.

Same here. Infact my mind (ego) blasted into pieces loosing it's false identity and getting one with its source which is in the union of Ram-Sita, Sakthi-Siva. Listened to his speech twice on same day. So impactful it is.

Probably Mother Seetha intended this interpretation of her trials and tribulations and her oneness with her Lord. The Ramayanam is the story of Rama and the his story is driven by Maa Tripura Sundari, Mother Seetha herself. How beautiful? The heart tingles with joy when we hear Vinay speak. Mother Seetha uses him as a flute to hear her glory. I hope as he becomes better at his craft, he stays more and more grounded. He's a treasure and hope he remains so for the rest of his benevolent life. Every time we hear him speak, the heart tingles with joy. Beautiful! 🙏🙏🙏

I'm a Shri-vaishnava, loved this, beyond words, very beautiful, this is also said in vaishnavas, only wishing for shreeji without narayan (purusha) is wrong, or only wishing narayan without shreeji(Shakti) is wrong, therefore we have a yugal upasna be it Lakshmi Narayan, Sita Ram, Radha Krishna, Rukmini Krishna ❤🌸
The haters of other Hindu Gods, by the way Ramanuja's beleive is totally illogical. He believes that the god has only one form Vishnu, Shiva, Parvati,Brahma, Ganesha all are jivas . Also he hates Sankara's phylosophy

According to vaishnav, Lakshmi is dependent on Vishnu and created from Vishnu but Vishnu is independent.
But according to Shaktas, Lakshmi is not dependent on Vishnu, she is part of adishakti, no one creates her.
Just because he talks about Ram Sita , so, you like it. Otherwise you people are against Shaktas. You people think that only your phylosophy is correct.
Even you people don't believe in Shiv Vishnu equality, which is the core of Hinduism.
By the way Sreeji/Lakshmi Devi is the god of wealth and Parvati Devi is the god of Strength, even Madhava sampradaya like ISKCON believe in this.
By the way, there are many ancient vaishnav temple where only Narayan is worshipped, then go and first placed Lakshmi murti there, then talk like this.
Sita , Radha , Lakshmi are not the prominent deities of shakta tradition , Sita and Radha are worshipped as Shakti of Ram and Krishna specially and Lakshmi is worshipped as Kamala in the shakta tradition. as the 10th mahavidya.
And only in Sri Vidya there is a ritual where shiv shakti ( purush prakriti) worship is mandatory, there is no other tradition of worshipping shiv shakti (purush prakriti ) in other mahavidyas upasana or even in durga upasana.
@@arijitkar9434Shivas hate vishnu a lot. Kulotunga chola tried to kill Ramanujacharya. Many vaishnavas were killed by shaiva kings. They so wrongly claimed many of the vishnu temples like tirupati,destroyed statues of lord vishhnu in chidambaram. Ramanujacharya bhashyam of bramha sutras and his vishastadvait was approved by goddess saraswati herself and she presented an idol of lord hayagriva which is still in mysore parakala mutt. So indirectly you are saying that goddess saraswati is illogical. Grow up and stop abusing other's point of view.

I love, adore, revere and worship Maha Tripura Sundari. Her very name gives me goosebumps. I am relieved by this podcast in that here Vinay ji is saying that Shiva and Shakti are integral in one another. Though it is also said that Shakti is the Supreme reality without her Shiva is only a shav. I am just unable to reconcile to that view. To me they were always ONE and not separate. Like the Sun and its glow. Shakti is the smile of Shiva. How can they be separate?

2) The language... flawless and fluent English ... so that the whole world can listen to and understand your words ..
3) Your age... you are too young yet have tremendous knowledge like Adi Sankara and analytical skills like an Engineering student..

Excellent talk, had tears in eyes about Tadepalli sastry garu incident. Also, would like to add a small reference from valmiki ramayana. After Sita Agnipravesam, Agni emerges and says Rama, please take Sitamma. I'm panchabhoutika agni whereas she is 'Chitagni'. I cant bear her Tejas anymore. This 'CHITAGNI' is the key. In Lalita Sahasranamam, the second line itself says 'Chitagnikundasambhootha'. Also, Ramaa Ramanalampata. Raamaa is Sitamma. Ramanalampata is what you said Lalitha Maha Tripura Sundari meditating on Siva.

Every time I listen to Vinay bhakti flows from the heart. How nicely he brings out the relation between Saharnamam Lalitha and Ramayanam. He always quote Sundara kandam in most of his lectures. Sadaka about to have the Darshan of Maha Tripura sundari. And he is relating to Sudha Sindhor madyae Sowndarya lahiri. Great comparison 👏 namaskarams to this young man. 👏
