Damn, i heard a very little bit of this song when i saw "Confessions Of A Shopaholic" last night and i loved it. When i saw that Adrienne Bailon was the singer, i said i have to look it up. Glad i did, this song is fantastic.

That was never true? This was originally a Britney Spears Demo but it was rejected so they gave it to Adrienne for her debut album. But that got scrapped so it was put for the movie.
I was dead serious when I wrote that. I was also, however, two years younger. I still say this is sub-par, poorly-written, shallow, and almost wholly derivative, but I don't feel as strongly as I did about it when I wrote that post, having forgotten I even wrote that within a week at most.
I like the songg but i think if someone else sung it, it would be better, she sounds too much like a little girl D: sorry to say~ Buttt i love this song. :D

I think this song exemplifies every negative trait with which I used to associate popular music. The melody is obnoxious and repetitive, the lyrics sound like they're played on loop and bear implications unfortunate enough to make one question if people are listening to them, and, in a particularly foul move, it steals blatantly from "Material Girl," a song which does not warrant such an insult. This is miserable, simple as that. I'm sorry, but you wanted my opinion.
