Thank you including the meaning of hygge, I love adding new words to my vocabulary. Here's another word I learned recently that's very timely considering how much rain we've had recently--"pluviophile." When i first heard it I thought it mean something dirty, lol. It actually means (n) a lover of rain; someone who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days.

This video really helped me feel calm last year. When I woke up this morning to rain, reflecting on being almost a year out from when all the pandemic stuff started, I had to give this a re-watch while cuddling my dog and drinking coffee. It was so nice to see Lolita again 💖 one of my dogs passed away this year too and it reminded me of being home and cozy with her all last spring. I’m so glad we got to be safe at home with our little fur families all year.

I loved this as a couple in their 30s with no children I feel like I can't relate to many but I feel like I can relate to this having a cozy staying at home simple dinner just you and your hubby.

Hi. I kinda came across this since I saw the title and was curious about what "hygge" meant. Well, putting it mildly, I am beyond happy I clicked. I don't know if I can put into mere words what I just watched. Made me teary eyed. Felt the goosebumps.. Calming? Oh you better believe it. I have anxiety, plus am on the autism spectrum, and some days are worse than others. Today was one of them. Almost can't get a grasp of what is happening in the world . Trying to reduce the news consumption. Of course, it can't be totally ignored. I love so many things in this video. The cereal ( a favorite of mine lol), jigsaw puzzle, the color blue. the candles, your adorable furbabies, the bread, dinner, rain drops, sky, music...every. thing. I know this is probably a channel geared toward the ladies, so please excuse me on that regard lol. But I HAD to comment. Bless you for doing this Charlotte. One thumbs up is not nearly enough.

How soothing this video was and I especially enjoyed the sounds. Everything was so comforting, I’ve forgotten how relaxing knitting is. Are you making a sweater or a blanket? It’s a simple things that matter.

I wasn’t ready for a shorter vlog but happy nonetheless. Will watch after my online class at 5:15 (est). Once the quarantine ends I’m making plans to hang out with all of my school friends. Yesterday I made brownies tho😁I think I let them stay in the oven for 10 mins too long cause after they cooled down they were rock hard. It’s fine after warming them for 30 seconds😂

Learning about hygge a few years ago changed my life. When I tell myself “it’s time to hygge”, it’s like giving me permission to relax. I took a day off work once to have a full day of hygge. I called it my “hyggeday”.
Thanks for the video. It gave me the energy to get up and face my day.
