HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENT FOR A MALE NATIVE TROUSERS || Measurements for Sokoto || African Trousers

In this video I walked you through how to take measurement for a male native trousers (Sokoto). Taking measurement for native trousers is totally different from taking for English or corporate trousers because there is no front fly zipper on native trousers, the front and back panels are completely closed.
I also showed you two different method you can use in getting the crotch depth measurement which are achieved with crotch circumference measurement and hip circumference measurement.
Finally I showed the secret of how to measure the knee point with ease and also how to take the ankle circumference measurement to avoid tightness around the trouser opening.

Doing the thigh. you did the tape up to the hip to get the thigh measurements. You said it is not for ENGLISH PANTS ONLY NATIVE. I live in the USA. Explain please what u mean??

Yes. The thigh measurements must be taken with ease inorder to have enough room for putting the native Trouser on and off..

At 5:35 tome on the video. You talk about how to get the Crouch depth by using the hip measurements and divided by four. You said after that add 2 1/2 inches or 3 inches but not 2 inches. So was you adding those inches to the crotch depth? If so WHY YOU DOING THAT FOR?

The crotch point usually falls below the hip level and the distance between the hip and crotch level is between 2.5 to 3 inches as this depends on the size of the wearer but 2 inches will not work because this is for a native trouser where the front and the back is permanently closed.

Native trouser that is popularly known as SOKOTO doesn't come with zipper. Any trouser that has a zipper is a corporate trouser and not a native trouser.
