It's funny how she can easily sing/cover any song but to cover her song is like impossible for anyone to sing 😂
Me and 5 mates all in our 60s, all from Liverpool England went over to Frankfurt Germany on the 11th of May to watch the greatest FEMALE ARTIST on the PLANET, her live Vocals are off the scale, watching reaction videos absolutely 💯% don't do her any justice, she's very unscripted and unpredictable, I don't even think she knows what she's going to do next, she's just out of this world, the fun she has on stage is a lesson to all artists who take themselves to serious 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

At the time missing home☹️ so by accident I was on utube just checking out some random music videos and I believe it was some kind of Asia music awards? And there she was my very first time hearing her sing!!! Who is she!!! So I said I need more, more, more of this beautiful talented young lady❤
@@williamtexeira6671 the very 1st video that got me onto her 6yrs ago was a video of her and her now husband DAVE LAMAR and DAVE'S brother singing BEFORE IT EXPLODES, she was only 15yrs old when she did that performance and sounded like someone in there mid 20s, this for me was when the rabbit hole opened up and I've never stopped watching her since, I'm also a big fan of SOHYANG from South Korea, that's another rabbit hole worth going down but MORISSETTE is my ultimate No1 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️

IMHO, unless there’s an international or western mainstream label/producer that will allow her to retain her independence & more importantly, her morals & values, the music industry will not allow her to blow up to the extent that she deserves. 😢 Keep loving what you do Mori. ❤
With her exemplary talent and superb singing abilities she should have gotten much more internationally popular by now. If she moves to the US, many positive things will move much faster in her favor. But I doubt she'd move. It's about having more opportunities and marketability. Just my opinion.

Speaking of the Philippines… did you know that after Steve Perry left Journey, they found replacement Arnel Pineda (Filipino) when guitarist Neal Schon say him on RUclips? Amazing. Journey has also filled vocals with drummer Dean Castronovo who has played with them off and on.
I was fortunate enough to see Morissette in L.A on this tour. When Morissette would let loose....your vital organs would shake! lol Morissette 'live' is a different animal.....unpredictable and unchained. Hopefully she will tour the US again this year and you guys can see her. Thank you for your constant support of this generation 'Indie' artist !!!!

I would of preferred one of own songs. I prefer Hearts original renditions.
The Philippines have some tremendous singers including Morisette and Gigi DeLana. But they tend to only sing originals in Tagalog. It's hard to become famous doing english covers.
morissette has numerous original songs in English also. Her EP album from a few years ago has great songs. Gigi is a cover singer and very good but Morissette does everything.

You know the original now here is the cover that is THE cover after 54 years. They did not “make it their own” it is a full homage to the original it was released on March 2nd this year on Karen’s birthday. Here is “We’ve Only Just Begun” (Cover) by James Wilkas feat. Tori Holub.
Tori is 20 and in April was an invited guest at the Carpenters 55th Anniversary Celebration. There were 8 acts including Tori paying tribute in an Acoustic Concert.

Her international career should have already taken off around 2019 when she recorded one song with Capitol Records. Listen to partial song. Search "That one song Morissette recorded in Capitol Records with Mariah Carey's former producer REVEALED!". (sorry not allowed to post link). The news (Tagalog language) about that, listen by searching "Producer ni Mariah Carey na si Rhett Lawrence, inihahanda na ang mga proyekto para kay Morissette". Whatever happened, clearly Lawrence saw Mori as an international singer.
