Love this build. Been admiring the big ass modern builds on youtube vids, but whenever Ive been building myself, I have made 4x4 houses myself. Found that 3x3 was just a tad too small for my liking, as I want it to look like a proper home aswell and not just a base.
And props for the cable management, very satisfying to see and do it myself.

Love the build, reminds me of living in 2*2 bunker in Rust lol.
Only thoughts - (you mentioned it) but get rid of pylons/hide wires to save on structure count, we're going small after all.
Second, plants should be underneath in the turret pit. A single sprinkler on the roof would still water everything, and they'd get light. Which is actually = to water. A -30 vitality drop = 50% longer grow time, without it, your 12hr grows will take 18hrs etc.

While I give this due credit for its effective functionality, there is a part of me that is huddled in a corner screaming "I DON'T FEEL SAFE I CANT BREATHE WHERE IS MY VAULTED CEILING AND OVERPRICED WALLPAPER COSMETICS??????"

Why not put the plants on the roof, the sprinkler can reach 5x5 planterboxes + 4 on each side of that so 40, tripple that and you got 120 boxes, then put the watertanks in the corners.
I like having at least 1 water tank for dirty water and another for pure water, as buffers.
Waterpump -> Small pump -> Dirtwatertank (on top of purewatertank) ->Filter (beside the purewatertank) -> Purewatertank -> Sprinkler (and barrel).
Some deviations like crops and flowers, so keep 2 boxes near the deviations or maybe loomy soil can be stacked on the deviation tanks like the radio?

good desing, but why would u come up with "farm for weaks" for a house, if u can only go farm some tugsten and that gravel comes in thousands lol

u can place the turrets on top of a chest if you have a parapet covering it so that it will also aim down the parapet
