We just bought a used Edge Sport (2015) in Michigan and love it. Very well done. No complaints and the 2.7 twin turbo is a rocket ship! So fun and comfortable at the same time. Well done Ford!
Been to test one today as an upgrade to our Ford Kuga. A growing family means the 3rd child seat won't fit across the Kugas back seat so time for something bigger. 99.9% sure we'll order one tomorrow morning, the Sport in Electric Spice with the auto box.......... It's in stock so should have it in a few days.
Good review! However, could of done with more views of the cockpit, dials, buttons, tech and the infotainment system. Could do with knowing about the creature comforts, isofix, sat nav etc etc.
twin turbo no less...this is good as it usually means fairly linear power delivery. Amazing torque as well of 450Nm. Almost like the VW Amarock 2 litre twin turbo diesel. I pulled out in front of me doing 100 klm/hr, to my happy surprise he (or she) put the foot down and I did not brake as I was expecting. For a diesel ute it goes. Tried to convince my Dad to by one, but he loves his manual Isuzu D-Max. Personally as with most utes its rough as hell! My car is an old 2008 Audi Q7 4.2 twin turbo diesel, which I have had for over 3 years. 760 Nm of torque, pulls the 2.4 ton van like it is not even there, can sit with cruise control set on 100klm/hr, does this easily, comfortably and economically using just 15.5 litres/100 on the highway cruise on 100 klm/hr!!!! :)
+Martin Lang Oh, forgot to say it is a semi-off road full sized van. This means it has a fair bit of Aerodynamic drag to overcome. Best vehicle by far that I have ever owned (we have had more than 7 so far).
But DPF filter problems are well known, higher purchase price, injector andl pump problems, higher maintenance costs overall and the noise. They are getting better but some still are super noisy, what you say is correct but there is trend away from them now in my country.
Why do we Americans hate diesals? They get astounding gas mileage, great low down torque and can be as clean as a petrol engine if done properly (**cough**Volkswagen)

Another great review and I have already seen a Demonstration Car at the Lookers Ford Dealership In Harrogate and In the same Colour as one you drove
Thank you! Yeah, dealers should have their demo cars now. The electric spice colour is very unique.
'Dawdling white van man'? Must be unique! Great review.
+kevin heming Thank you!
I sure wish we could get the diesel here in the U.S.!
Quite a few people have said similar things with other models.
I was quite surprised to hear it has active noise cancelling. Do any of its rivals have ANC? Or any other cars at all?
Not sure about rivals, but a few other cars have it. Works just like the headphones. Amazing how well it works.
I know the Mondeo Vignale has it too, not sure if its included on the other trims though, might be.
I ike it, but a diesel engine?
+lffit Yeah only diesels being offered at this moment in time.

+Rebel Rhymes Certainly better for long motorway journeys.
We were amongst the first to test the all-new 2016 Peugeot 3008 SUV: ruclips.net/video/lEyejvk07-E/видео.html
epic a right side driver ford
+L.Groves The Utube Classic Man It has been a long time coming.

+Ixissimus I don't really know. Diesel is very popular in the UK.
Don't bother with the cheesy music n shots at the beginning and more video detail about the cars tech pleas !?
I don't like the car, sorry ford, but the review was great
Thanks!
