The only album I've ever preordered. Been listening to it since release, and can safely say that the cathartic feeling it brings has not diminished even slightly. This is, in all likelihood, my favorite album of all time.
Really enjoyed that, some nice old school elements, but also very fresh and compelling, awesome song writing and some of the best orchestral vocals I've heard in a fair few years. Thanks to everyone involved 👍
Never heard of this band until today. Outstanding combination of intentionally-repetitive (mood-creating) black metal and bombastic vocals (and other types of vocals too) and keyboards/sound effects. This is songcraft, by no means a bunch of riffs thrown together.

Apart from one objectionable minute, this album is transcendent. Words couldn't describe how much it helped me the day it came out during a trying time.
Simply amazing. One of the best musical aesthetics through the entire album this year. Easily one of the best if not the best guitarwork of this year in my humble opinion.
This band is akin to a religious experience. So much more than mere music.. They are a journey. Every album a piece of the picture. One of the few to organically transcend.

All the pre-releases this year gave no reason to expect anything other than such a grandiose album! Mephorash, these exceptional artists are among the best that black metal has to offer! They combine the highest quality in their music with unique ideas and symbolic images that arise in the mind. This band is simply phenomenal and in a class of their own! A bit unfair to comment yet, but after a single listening I prefer the previous album. Though this one is amazing as well. Subject to change after I'm gonna listen to it repeteadly in the coming days :D
I have been listening for four days in a row. I absolutely love it, I don't know if it's better than the previous one or if it's even fair to compare. It stands in their own, the songwriting is incredible and they are perfecting their signature sound in my opinion. One of my favorite albums of the year, defenitely

Yeah Faidra Was great and a fantastisch release, but Mephorash is the Supreme leading force in todays orthodox Black Metal.
