  • Just another Friday evening FPV flight session at a new location. Today (9-26-2014) flying over The Great Park in Irvine, California. Currently built on 688-acres of what used to be 4,700-acre MCAS (Marine Corpse Air Station) El Toro.

    Really nice and smooth ride Lino, Keep 'em coming. I flew another LOS flight today. This time at the Korean Friendship Bell in San Pedro. I havn't seen it yet but I think it will be a nice view of the Harbor from that side.

      Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy my videos. Yes I'd rather fly during weekends also. I'm not sure why our group keeps meeting Friday evenings after work. Everybody's fighting traffic and rushing to get to the field just to make it in time to only get 1 or 2 flights before the sun goes down. I'll try suggesting weekend flying sessions to the group and see what response we get.

    As of 2017 ...Now they are building a shitload of housing surrounding this area.... too much housing in Irvine!!!

      Phil Catalli You knew City of Irvine was eventually going to build that whole aea out once they installed all the infrastructures ( sewers, storm drain, streets, ...etc.). During my flight here you could see all the open trenches and storm drain pipes they were installing.
