They deserve more recognition. This guy met fans in the street and instead of shooing them away he talked to them like a normal person like they are. I’m a girl, drummer and programmer. I’m always told you should play the flute instead (like the other band girls)I’m the only girl programmer and the youngest on my robotics team. I’m alone next year. The boys are all graduating. Many times, artist will explain their experiences in a way that, well, not many have experienced or that not many people can relate to, but these guys explain everything so simple and yet in such a fascinating and interesting manner. It's kind of a much humbler point of view actually intended to make people feel like them and understand, maybe, it's not for us to understand them, but for them to understand us, the people that listen to them. And I think that's what makes them so awesome; so magic-like. They put everything in a simple way: "this is what I like doing, so I do it and it's good because I enjoy it" and that's it. No masks; no excuses; no trying to be all likeable and everything, just plain; just simple, just there. They enjoy it, and we enjoy it and it gives a hope that maybe doing what you enjoy is actually what you need.

I think they worked harder than a lot of musicians. Take, Ariana, for example, she started off as an actress and used the fame from that to make her successful today. One Direction, X-Factor, obviously. But these guys? They lie about how they met. They started from scratch. They didn't use award shows and acting to be where they are today. They used themselves. They've perfected what they've done. No improvements could be made. Nothing could better that sharing the most important journey, with the most important memories with your best friend. I love them.

I've been having a really tough week so far and would think to myself I don't belong here, none of my friends understood why I hurt myself, I knew it was bad but I couldn't stop myself, I've lost so many friends this week and theres nobody that I feel safe talking to, I even lost my best friend. In times where I wonder if my life even matters or if theres anything to stay alive for, I turn to Tyler and Josh. They've saved my life so many times and I couldn't be more thankful. Honestly this is extremely inspirational for me for the longest time I've wanted to play the drums but I never really had the money for a drum kit and I've gone many places to be able to play I've wanted to be in a band for as long as I can remember but none of my friends play anything or sing or even like any music I do and that's the kind I want to make and play and to hear what josh has done and did just so he could achieve his dreams is so amazing and inspiring and makes me want to go and try my self right now
You should start some kind of business like pet sitting so u can make ur own money for a SJC kit. Trust me, I stated a lawn mowing business and already have 310 bucks in a week and I'm still raising money for a SJC custom drumset. U can do it 😀

I feel you. I'm scavenging the money to get a new snare but truth be told I'm just gonna get a whole new set. I wasn't really ever privileged, and from a family that set my future to the slums. I love being able to drum when I can though, because I love feeling the beat in my heart.

Josh Dun is one of many of my inspirations. And i know a lot of people probably say that. I am so inspired by him as a person and as a musician, and the fact that he has kept it cool and kept his connection to God through all the popularity and fame. I hope to go to a concert of theirs in the hopefully near future, i want that more than anything right now (well i can't wait to get my electric drumset). I just want to be able to talk to him and Tyler in person and just have a real conversation. They seem so down to earth and all round amazing guys. Honestly this is extremely inspirational for me for the longest time I've wanted to play the drums but I never really had the money for a drum kit and I've gone many places to be able to play I've wanted to be in a band for as long as I can remember but none of my friends play anything or sing or even like any music I do and that's the kind I want to make and play and to hear what josh has done and did just so he could achieve his dreams is so amazing and inspiring and makes me want to go and try my self right now

You should start some kind of business like pet sitting so u can make ur own money for a SJC kit. Trust me, I stated a lawn mowing business and already have 310 bucks in a week and I'm still raising money for a SJC custom drumset. U can do it 😀

I feel you. I'm scavenging the money to get a new snare but truth be told I'm just gonna get a whole new set. I wasn't really ever privileged, and from a family that set my future to the slums. I love being able to drum when I can though, because I love feeling the beat in my heart.

I love the way he talks about playing the drums. I find it so fascinating how something that may just be "drums" to one person can mean so much to someone like Josh. it's not just an instrument to him and that is beautiful.

I think a lot of people are missing out on this band and what they represent
there are so many people who obsess over them and people will kind of keep away from the band because they think all they are to people are pieces of meat but they are seriously the most open eyed musicians I think I've ever known and they're not even my favourite band, these guys are ground-breaking and everything that they stand for is important to this generation

Josh Dun is one of many of my inspirations. And i know a lot of people probably say that. I am so inspired by him as a person and as a musician, and the fact that he has kept it cool and kept his connection to God through all the popularity and fame. I hope to go to a concert of theirs in the hopefully near future, i want that more than anything right now (well i can't wait to get my electric drumset). I just want to be able to talk to him and Tyler in person and just have a real conversation. They seem so down to earth and all round amazing guys. I would love to get to tell them how much i appreciate their music and the influence that its made on me and so many people. Cross your fingers for me, for everyone. If you pray hard enough, wish hard enough or scream hard enough... Hehe.. Maybe just maybe.

His drum set up is so innovative! I've literally never seen anything like it! A four piece with the toms all flat and the cymbals flat and high... nope. never heard of such a set up. This guy is a genius.

Dang... this was the first twenty one pilots thing i ever actually saw. before i even knew a song, i saw this, thinking they were a hard rock band or something. i didnt even watch the whole video at first, but now after discovering them about a year ago and coming back its so crazy how later in the video it starts playing their songs with their synthesizers and pop-vibe and how i had no idea what kind of music they played. i mean, idk... its just crazy to think how much they mean to me now and how much more i know
