And for fun I usually just watch a little tv and maybe some movies especially on Netflix. Plus also I have my Mom put some Vicks on me and she gives me some medicine like Robitussin.

This is something about Sonic that I've only ever seen explored in fanfics: him being sick or injured but still wanting to be the hero everyone needs. From what I've seen, Sonic is indeed selfless and puts the needs of others above his own, which is good, but that doesn't mean he should neglect his own safety and health to do so. He has to learn that he can have moments of vulnerability too and there's no shame in that. It's okay not to be okay, Sonic. Just remember that your friends will always be there for you, just like you're always there for them.
Honestly seeing how Amy is usually helping people and actually not being really obsessive like some depictions of Amy, In my opinion I think if she were sick I think she'd act almost like Sonic, she would ignore the fact that she's sick just because she wants to help people and will do anything to help them, trying to be a therapist friend while ignoring her own feelings. (This is what I think, might not be true in this universe)

What I did when I was sick, depending how bad the symptoms are, I would go to the doctor, get medicine, and the most important thing I did, I just laid in bed to rest and let my body fight it off until I get better.
