St James park, is in Newcastle, which is literally the furthest place in the country from London, it’s like saying the golden gate bridge is a short drive from New York.
St James Park is next to Buckinham Palace. The St James Park you showed a picture of is football stadium in Newcastle, about 250 miles away, home of Newcastle football club. I would not want to pay millions and live next to a football ground.
Well said. Just getting ready to comment on their 248 mile screw up. If I was going to live next to a football stadium, though I have seen the neighborhood, let it be Anfield
John caudwell owns the most expensive house in London.. The Mayfair house is currently valued at £250 million as of 2020 A further £90 million more than your number 1 property..
My first investment with Mrs Jane gave me profit of over $24,000 us dollars and ever since then she has never failed to deliver and I can even say she's the most sincere broker I have known
Thatcher's home looked nothing like that when she lived there. Her taste was classic English, not Russian oligarch. Technically, she didn't own it, she initially bought a 10 year lease from the Duke of Westminster in 1991 for £700,000. It must still be a leasehold property. The developers paid £12m for the property in 2013 and brought it back to market at £30m in 2016. Despite what the developers claimed, Thatcher did not entertain heads of state in her dining room as she was no longer Prime Minister and was frequently away travelling on permanent speaking engagements. At the end of her life she lived at the Ritz Hotel with full time nursing care, where she died.
I was informed when working as security for a large property company that the vast majority of properties in Eaton Sq, Belgravia, Chelsea etc are still primarily owned by the royals and their extended family so yeah they probably are for the most part leasehold. There aren't too many freehold properties in London
I love how you used Newcastle United football club home stadium called St James Park for St James Park in London when the stadium isn't in London but over 200 !miles away in the city of Newcastle, yet you've confused the two landmarks.
When mentioned the St James Park which is adjacent to The Mall and Buckingham Palace why St James Park home of Newcastle United was shown 🤷🏻♂️that is good couple hundred miles away from London 🤔
#10 Ashberg House went on sale in October 2016 for £32M, reduced to £28M in April 2017. SOLD FOR £15.7M finally in June 2018. Certainly not the 10th most valuable property in London by any means. A property is only worth what a buyer will pay, not what a seller thinks it is worth. There are properties in London that money cannot buy, say The Old Rectory in Chelsea owned by John Fredriksen or Dudley House (100 Park Lane) owned by a cousin of The Emir of Qatar.
Yes, that last one is quite spectacular; "A 2015 Vanity Fair magazine profile of the house described it as London's most valuable private residence, at about $400 million, and that Queen Elizabeth II, a visitor, had supposedly said that the house "...makes Buckingham Palace look rather dull"." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dudley_House,_London
@@Treviscoe Believe it or not Dudley House used to house offices in the 1970's - I visited a few times to International Bottle Company a perfume bottle supplier whose London offices were in the building. Even then it was quite grand to a boy from Bradford. It must be amazing inside now. I spoke a while back to a florist delivering and arranging flowers for the house, hundreds of pounds every week, irrespective of whether anyone was in residence or not!
You have put the st James Park football stadium, which is in newcastle, 200 miles away, on property 6, instead of the green and beautiful st James Park in London. Good video though awesome!!
Newcastle United FC's St James Park stadium pictured @ 5.04 in erm, Newcastle (NE England, relatively close to Scotland) whereas St James's Park you describe is obviously in London. Only 280 miles difference 😆 😂 🤣

How can you not show the view of one hyde park?... You've also missed out ex phones4u ceo mansion in mayfair, now officially the most expensive residential property in uk
Is this just an advertisement for the property named number one? The property shown as number one would not be in the top 500 most expensive properties in London, some of the properties in London are so expensive that it would be near impossible to put a value on them, ie Clarence House and Buckingham Palace. 1 Hyde Park is not even a residential house, its a shopping centre with apartments! It is gaudy, garish and too much bling, more footballers wife than Princess of Monaco. The apartments in the complex sell for about £20 million each, that would be small change for a central London property. When you rated it most expensive property you must of added the value of all the apartments, that being the case, there are loads of apartments blocks in London that would be worth way more. Just had a look into the £160 million flat, it was not sold for that amount, the man who owned it was the property developer, and he valued it at £160 million, it was in fact sold for £80 million, and thats all a bit mysterious, as the guy who allegedly bought it, borrowed the money to buy it off the guy who owned it! They cant give these flats away, read the wiki page on 1 Hyde Park, one of the 5 million flats was reprocessed by the bank, no one lives there, there are only a hand full of people in the whole complex paying poll tax.
Oh dear! St James park is a park. St James park is also the ground of Newcastle United. Which the last time I cycled around there is not in London. Its in Newcastle.
So much incorrect information and random photos that have nothing to do with the properties. Number 2.. photos of random buildings and inside other flats? Shocking upload, do your research before you talk about London please..

Not jealous, I’ve seen beautiful mansions, Estates in the USA, but find this over the top grandiose offensive. Just put a big neon sign on the roof “I’ve arrived”
These were not even the most expensive in London, just a list of certain high priced homes completely ruined by *foreign* billionaires (hence the “over-the-top” aesthetic). England has thousands upon thousands of beautiful castles and stately homes with many hundreds of years of history in their walls - a million times more beautiful, elegant and architecturally important than the homes featured above. London also an enormous amount of gorgeous historic property e.g. grand townhouses/ mansions, but you have to pick the ones that have NOT been renovated inside to fit the taste of Middle Eastern/ Russian businessmen (no hate against them of course, but an 18th century classical townhouse - in London - does not need to be dripping in gold leaf or covered in marble). Many of the most expensive houses in the USA are also not to my personal style, because I much prefer a house with character (i.e. history), but of course we all like different things.
The best thing about this video is the salesman isn't front and centre, as they tend to be. So you don't have to keep waiting for him to get out of the way. Just turn his voice off, enjoy the views, and laugh along at the unintentional/stupid comedy.
