this gives me hope haha, i've been trying for months my fingers aren't coordinated enough but i guess it's just a matter of time until i do get it
@@toastedsniper9248 keep playing. You dont have to play it to the song's tempo. Just play it in slow tempo using bpm then gradually increase bpm and practice. You can eventually play it in original tempo.

I think you broke this down very good I've been playing for about 20 years now and I'm stuck in a rut every song I've ever learned I always said there's no way I would be able to play that and then I play it with ease after you learn it but this one has really stumped me just because there's so many parts I'm going to try to work on the first half and see if I can put it all together I wish there was an easier way to do the D chord over f cuz I cannot get my fingers to go where they need to after playing the G I instinctively just want to play a d chord and my fingers will not go where I want them to but very good video I will be watching it again and again and again until I get this

Ok I didnt think I'd leave three comments on a tutorial video from 8+ years ago but I honestly don't think I've ever been this happy to learn a song before, seriously, i appreciate you very very much, you broke it down in such a way that learning everything only took about 1.7x the length of the video, which for someone who's only been playing a couple years feels like speed incarnate, and thats pretty much all on you, man! Really grateful :)

rahul raj Probably dependant on how quickly you learn and just how good you are as a guitar player. I can play it about 99 percent right but I've got a bit of a sloppy style by my own admission. Its hard to judge but all I can say is just to keep trying and you'll be rewarded for the effort :)
algrayguitar Thanks! can you still tell me how long it takes normal intermediate players to learn 95%? I just want a rough estimate as I have no idea whatsoever. Like a day, a week, two weeks , a month?
Depends how intensive you are and how well you know the style (alternate picking is pretty essential) If you know the techniques you should nail it fairly quickly cause its not as hard as it sounds. But getting the motions exactly right is the tough part. I'd say a few days SHOULD get you playing it reasonably well if you devote a few hours per day. (No I'm not joking). A week at a slightly less intensive rate (an hour or two a day maybe).Every player is different htough as it depends on so many different things

I thought i was going crazy but then i realised its not in that key
it's almost perfect. the only complaint I have is that it's not in regular, standard tuning. it's actually in d standard, which is (low to high) D, G, C, F, A, D.

Nice tutorial as always, but is next your video with floating white balance. Probably you have auto settings on your camera. If you set white balance manually, video will look better. Now is little trying.
