Measure once, then wrap yarn around a card while counting how many times you go around. Then there is no need to measure anymore, just grab another card, use ur spool to wrap yarn again while counting until u get to the desired number. Hope it makes sense! If you have a circuit or other cutting machine, you can cut out several cards at a time. Have 2 notches in the side of the card to tuck the ends of the string into so it doesn’t unravel
measure the amt you need for the kit against the length of your table..then when you know., just use the table to measure all you need..then to wind the amts use a deck of cards or soemthing like that size and shape to "wind: the yarn to pack
Get a food scale or any scale that measures ounces and weigh your yarn instead. Always add some extra, of course, and it will make packing so much faster. A yarn winder is great just help keep your supply neat but wouldn’t help with the small amounts you are using in the kits. You may want to look at your packaging and see where you can streamline that as well. Your designs are so darling lots of folks will want them so if you can find a way to lighten your load you could make more kits.
Thanks for the tips! I definitely agree with needing to streamline so I can have more available. I learned a lot already with some shortcuts through this first go at them. Hoping I can find some more things to speed up my pace and make it a little easier as I continue with them!
Fellow New England girlie here, yes dunkin is everywhere but I’ve also always found it pretty mid. It’s so expensive now too!! I normally get the matcha tea latte and it’s about 6-7 dollars now. I just make my own as I’ve found depending on the time you go or location it can taste so different.
I saw your account just come up now on YT and recognised your art from the thumbnail. I previously followed you on IG because of your amazing reels, so I'm very happy you focused on your short form content so I was introduced to your work, and could stumble across your platform here too! Love the vintage cake design, it turned out fabulous. The kits came together so nicely! Congrats on a great launch xx
I wanted to get my hands on your punch needle kit but you said that you will launch another kit in June 😊 how exciting!! And your packaging are the cutest 💗💗
Aw thank you! I’m super excited for the June kits ☺️ it seems to be more ideal for the most people to have them launch on June 15th, so that’s when I’m aiming for!

have you considered paper bags for the yarn in the organza bag's? The bags are often just thrown out after

Yes, it’s never consistent! I really like the food, but I rarely go bc of how bad I think the coffee tastes lol 😩
@@allyblaireco yeah I’ve found it inconsistent across different locations too!!

Thank you so much for your kind words and support ☺️ I’m happy you’re here!
The birthday cake is adorable!!! Are you using acrylic yarn or cotton yarn?
Thank you! I’ll use any yarn sizes 2 and 3! A lot of the ones I have right now are blends :)

@@allyblaireco That’s sounds cool with me 🥰❤️
I JUST finished my cherry kit. 😭 please tell me what brand the yarn was you used. It’s so silky and nice!
I always love your vlogs so much my beautiful friend ❤🥹
Aw I’m so glad!! Thanks for watching 🥰
Hi, What kind of iPad or laptop are you using with the pen. I’m interested in purchasing one to be able to trace things. Thanks❤️
It’s the new iPad Pro! I got the 13 inch :)
Hi. Could you share please which needle do you use?
I have some in my shop! It doesn’t have a brand name, but is similar to Mina Carin :)
where do you get all your bright pink yarn an neon yarn?
Mostly my local craft stores, but you can also find it online! I just look for sizes 2 and 3 yarn and pick whatever colors I’m drawn to ☺️
I’m from New England and living in the south. DD don’t do it right compared to up north.

Weigh you yarn instead of measuring then you only have to deal with one piece at a time.
That’s smart!! I’ll have to get a new scale I think, because the yarn is so light I don’t think the one I have picks up that small of numbers. Thanks!
