"All that I am, All that I ever was, Is here in your perfect eyes, They're all I can see, I don't know where, Confused about how as well" could also be Carla talking to Lisa about how Carla is a different person after the journey of falling in love with a woman in Lisa who definitely does have "(gorgeous) perfect eyes". I also love the foreshadowing bit at the start from Ryan telling Carla that he needs somebody whose face lights up when they see him and Carla telling Ryan that she understands because both Carla's and Lisa's faces do light up when they see each other.
