- Los Pozos de la Nieve - The Snow Wells of the Sierra Espuña. The road that leads to the military radar station, you will find a carpark and if you start exploring you should find about 28 wells which used to store snow. The wells were built between 16th-20th centuries aiming at providing the nearby localities with ice. Currently, there are two signed pathways which take you to: Sendero de Pedro López and Valle de Leyva-Collado Mangueta.

It is lovely up there. I am shocked at how many trees they have cut down! Last time we were up there the fully restored one was surrounded by trees.

I’d guess that large bird @ 6:36 was a turkey vulture.
