Man, I get it, like, for 90% of the server brandishing a firearm is a big deal, but in this particular instance, they could've just let it slide. It's James Randal who has an in-RP explanation for what happened and tries to convince them in the most comedic way possible that that was an AI generated photo. Realistically, no one was hurt, threatened, killed etc. just let it slide.
Ripley has an in-character reason for not believing it though. He's unfamiliar with the technology and errs on the side of caution. And he's a by-the-book trooper. Just the push/pull of this kind of interaction.
Im not familiar with every character but the driving instructor's voice reminds me of Gretchen from Recess. LOL I love it. This clip made me genuinely laugh out loud so hard. Twas great!!

It's a server where if you're not a cop, you're a criminal.. it would be impossible to convict every single character of the crimes they are charged for. They don't have the lawyers or judges or the time to do that. They get charged and go to prison and if they want contest it and win it can get dropped, but if not, it's basically a conviction.

Being Charged and Convicted are 2 totally different things. People get charged wrongly all the time for crimes they never committed. People have also been Convicted and given a life sentence wrongly after a "Witness" was Coerced by police to say something happened, even when it never did.
There is also no Constitutional Right to force a Police officer to protect you. In Fact the Supreme Court has ruled that Police do not need to intervene to save someone's life, and there will be no consequences if someone dies, due to a cop not taking action.
But this isn't real life. In Los Santos, if you don't want a trial (because they'd be having 50 every day if people did and that's unfeasible) it's basically a conviction on the server. Simply put it's a server built on the idea of cops vs crims, so it's a moot point.
