This Carson and his Fil Am family flies out of LAX so it's a little longer than your flight. Gotta love the Cali traffic. I think that we're going to go to the Philippines in December and fly on Korea Air.
Hi, I'm new sub here. I just want to thank you for old memories that I have. Btw, first of all where or what part of San Francisco you from. At this time I'm staying at 18th St by the Dolores park under section 8. You know, for senior citizen. Anyhow, I have been all over (almost) California. Like, Dally Citi, San Mateo, San Leandro, Pittsbugh, and you know what. Been here for 56 years and counting, Hey, forget about me. Have a great time, safe and healthy in the or shall I say, my loving country home 'PHILIPPINES'...Thank you, ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your kind compliments and for subscribing to our new RUclips channel! We are actually from Sacramento and decided to vlog our drive to the SF Bay Area, which we really love! In the next coming days, we plan to upload more videos of our visit to the Philippines, so stay tuned! We ❤️ 🇵🇭!!! BTW, what part of the Philippines are you from?
@@CarsonFilAmFam I was born in Zamboanga City, Mindanao but left at age of three and move to Pasig City, Manila where I grew up and finish high school then back to Zamboanga City for college. But for only for two years because US Embassy called and told me it's time for me to leave Philippines since I was born an American citizen. And here I am now. LOL
Sacramento I've never been to, but almost over bay area....Hehehe, Anyhow, thank you for responding. I was born in Zamboanga City and grew up (my childhood) in Manila, Pasig City. But back in Zamboanga City for 2 years in college. Then I was told by US Embassy to better leave and go to America. I was 17 or 18 then....waaaaa! Hehehe. Looking forward to your new vlog....♥♥♥♥
We love Bay Area , we try to visit whenever we can even for just a day . We will try to do more vlog in Manila in the future . Thank you for supporting us 😊🇵🇭
14:53 you choose EVA Air (🇹🇼🇭🇰 seplling 長榮航空) San Francisco Taipei Manila by the way most of the Filipinos would have ended up going on competitor Philippine Airlines PR105/115. with the Taiwanese and Hong Konger passengers write it out as 菲律賓航空. Same is also said for BR5/261 with the majority of the Filipinos going for its competitor flight PR113
Thanks I am flying the same route in 13 days with an added flight ghtfrom Vegas. The only difference is I will be flying the 1 pm to Taipei and arriving Manila scheduled for 10.50 pm. I was going to do the centurion lounge in sfo but I looked and I would have to go through security twice. I don’t think it is worth it so I will do one of the priority pass lounges.
@@CarsonFilAmFam they said they had to many flights of their own. That is why I usually fly out of sfo instead of lax. LAX has no priority pass lounges so your chance of getting into the centurion lounge is like winning the lottery. Like I said at SFO centurion had a long line and virgin and China were refusing priority pass so I was left with the golden gate.
Did you you check in a bag. Were the airlines strict with the checked bag and carry on weight. How would you rate the flight from one to ten(customer service, dining)
We were allowed two 50lbs baggage to check in and a hand carry bag thats up to 15 lbs. The service is good but food is just ok , I think they could have done better on their food 😋
This coming December 08 it's Bonjour Paris as Air France 🇫🇷 is returning to the Philippines after more than 20 years and will restart their direct nonstop flight between Manila and Paris Charles de Gaulle, as a Schengen Visa holder it's "Au Revoir" to tedious layovers when traveling to Europe 🇪🇺. I can't wait to be greeted again by the cabin crew with "Bonjour et Bienvenue á Bord" and a complementary champagne 🥂 onboard on my upcoming travel to France, better take a crash course in the French language if you intend to travel on Air France and I do speak a little French "Je parlez petits Français" I mostly speak German when in Europe 🇪🇺 on holiday and business. Bonne Chance et Bon Voyage.
That’s great news! Thanks for sharing that 😊 definitely will need to learn some basic French words since we are thinking of traveling there in the future 😊 Have fun on your future trip to France 😊
@@CarsonFilAmFam I'll be visiting my friend in Lyon a 2hr trip on the high speed TGV train from Paris and for the first time the majestic Mont Saint Michel on the Normandy coast then the Hôtel des Invalides where under the majestic dome you'll find the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte even a stroll along the Avenue des Champs Elysée.
@@CarsonFilAmFam There's also a new attraction in Paris called La Maison Elysée along 88 Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré adjacent to the Elysée Palace an 18th Century Mansion the home of the President of the French Republic since 1848, it's open to the public as a Presidential Museum, Café and Boutique, and see what it looks like in the day to day life of the President of France 🇫🇷, I can't wait to get there when I arrive in Paris this December.
@@CarsonFilAmFam Did you know that Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport or Aeroport de Paris Charles de Gaulle is located 23km Northeast of the French capital in the town of Roissy in the region of Ilé de France the main hub of Air France opened in 1974 and was named after Charles de Gaulle (1890-1970) the French WW2 General and President of France from 1958 to 1969, the airport has excellent road and rail connections to Paris and to the regions in Northern France.

Yup, SFO traffic in NorCal can be really bad…bring your patience! We flew Korea Air years ago and might fly them again.
I have done that flight from Vegas to Seoul at least it saved me a connection in California.
