Hey Tom, love your tutorials. You're my goto. I just updated my system and realize I don't like the behaviour of the File system launcher on the panel. I have a memory of you teaching us how to fix this, but I can't find the Video. You wouldn't happen to know off the top of your head, would you? Thanks Tom.
It might have been this: ruclips.net/video/xtpqcwYNals/видео.html And I think I also cover it in a recent mint video: ruclips.net/video/nZ59ps1cGvI/видео.html
Hey, I got some questions, how do you rout PCI devices though to a VM, like a graphics card. Also, how do I map/rout a VM to a physical disk and not a virtual disk.
Long as you're installing stuff not in dom0 thr attack surface of the vms don't matter as much as they are isolated from dom0. If a qube gets compromised delete it and youre good to go. But yes installing a lot of stuff in dom0 is not advised. If dom0 gets compromised game over.
Great useful tutorial, now I want to discuss with you finally NextCloud, but it’s a large and different model. Qubes is great
I have some NextCloud tutorials, though I think they are about ready to be updated.

@@SwitchedtoLinux Thanks Tom, that's the one. 👍
would using distrobox just make your attack surface bigger?

It will be in the Device Manager, and you need to select the device and tell it what VM to send it to.
distrobox seems cool but that many apps and os running would not that make one a bigger target?
