    I've built many bikes in my life. Even a DI2 once, as a mechanic. I've never seen this done before. Very informative. I'm a big Campagnolo fan. Thank you.

    Nice scratch on the BB... One problem with the Campag BB it does not stop the tool from touching the frame. Sad about the stem junction box.

      Correct, best-looking disc rotors in the market! Looking like actual brake discs, not like cracked saucers like those from the bigger of the two S-brand manufacturers.

    Why did you use the Pro One Tubeless (TLE) tyre with tubes for the build? The Tube-Only Pro One would be even lighter and you run the tyres with tubes either way.

    What did you do about the "proprietary" front fork flat mount adaptor. I am under the impression the 160mm integrated flat mount campy caliper will not work with an Aethos build I am thinking about. Is this a 140 caliper with 140 rotor? Can you clarify? Thanks for your time!

    • @roadbikechannel
      @roadbikechannel  3 года назад

      Hi Taylor. Indeed the 160mm caliper doesn't work for 160mm discs on the Aethos fork. We've used a 140mm flat mount caliper on a 160mm disc instead.

    This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
