VIVIZ are more than just a subunit of GFriend. They signed for a separate company to the other members when they went their individual ways after they were all fired with just 4 days notice by their old company. That company illegally claimed their copyright so they couldn’t stay together as GFriend and join another company. But their copyright claim was thrown out by the court on both occasions they tried to trademark it and were told that the GFriend name is owned by these 6 girls and not with the company. So GFriend are marking their 10th anniversary in January with a comeback more than 4 years since their last song ironically sponsored by the company that fired them.
