I can tell you it is working well and I enjoy cooking as it does a better job than I expected as a whole system. Very expensive but pretty nice . Can I ask you what's the hob's model number you are using with the extractor in this video? Most models I see on Miele website come either bigger or smaller than the Miele Downdraft extractor!
Stay away from Miele downdraft. Ours broke down after 4 years, had it totally rebuilt by Miele certified repair because couldn’t figure out which part was affected. 1 year later broke down again. Customer service faked service ticket and said they would talk to the products development department in Europe and help us, our follow up with customer service post 6 weeks there was no track record of the 1 hr long discussion and the ticket did not show that they would do as they said they would. Brand new downdraft only one year warranty and rebuilt parts that equated to the cost of a new downdraft 3 months warranty. They don’t stand behind their products and the customer service was lying. I already thought that the representative was trying to kill time as he was asking 10 times the same question and pretended just to get rid of our frustration . We were loyal Miele users but this experience has appalled us. Still considering writing a letter to Miele CEO. One pays premium for these products yet the service and quality is dismal and dishonest.
