I loved it when he said if you mention her name again I'll break your neck, lol. I was glad he asked her if her upbringing was just an excuse to go after the power she wanted and she said yes. Her sob story about living in fear etc... was just an excuse. Lord Ding lived with much more stress than her and unlike her was not taken away by a kind and doting relative to allow him to live a peaceful life. He never turned to evil nor did Zhuohua and they both had sad childhoods. They had to earn whatever status they achieved in spite of all their obstacles. She was taken away to safety and allowed to do as she pleased. Of course she made it sound like she had suffered so very much & that she just wanted to change things for the people. What a crock of nonsense. That evil Dowager empress was able to murder people due to her power/position but the princess Roujia wanted even more power. She even asked the dowager why she didn't go for the throne since she was so close. Now she has admitted it to Liu Yan. Too bad there isn't someone lurking in the shadows and listening so they can testify to what is said.
👀 I think the Emperor and his uncle are working together to flush out the princess and the corrupt nobles. So, I don’t believe that uncle is dead, that’s why he didn’t receive a public funeral. Let’s see … 🤔
I was really hoping that Lord Ding, the Emperor, and Official Mu were working together to catch Princess Roujia. I wanted someone to appear in the jail cell after she admitted what she had done. I was also waiting for Official Shen to switch sides. I'm so disappointed in him AGAIN (Xu Hai Qiao played Ouyang Xu - the one who jilted Pan'er in A Dream of Splendor). Oh well...
Xu Hai Qiao was also in Dream of Red Mansion, 2010, Marvelous Women, 2021 and no doubt many more. There is a sad, weak athmosphere around him in those C-dramas too.

I haven't seen Juli with Zhuohua much at all for some time. I miss her character. I thought the emperor and Liu Yan staged his death but at this point the emperor keeps having sad thoughts etc.. and now I have no clue. Jing seems like he is still smitten by Roujia since she is using intimacy to be able to use him. Lust is a powerful thing for some and seems like she has him under her thumb again. I will keep watching but right now I am not happy with how things are going. That famous sword never accomplished anything for Zhuohua and that was a disappointment for me. I hope this script changes things up soon or I will be very disappointed in this story. I feel like things are always getting worse now and no glimmer of hope seems visible.
I know the Liu Chen is acting, 😊. He would not let Lord Ding die. Both are acting, im wondering if Official Mu is in the connivence too 😂. I think they made this point the night Roujia try to trap the Emperor and Official Mu in the same room.

Princes Rhojia is pathetic. I don't feel sorry for her sob, feeling for herself pity party life. Lord Ding and Zhouhua had suffered more but live beyond it and endured which makes for strong yet humble character. She's sick though she played her role wicked role well.

This Princess/Shen romance started off so boring. Now they’re carrying this drama on their backs 😂😂 But this story has lost me. We know Lord Ding isn’t dead and I’m 99% sure all this is just to dig a trap for the Princess. But the story is going on for too longggg. It’s annoying
