Last time I saw this was when I lived on my farm as a kid. I always loved this. My favorite scene ever in my cartoons. My nostalgic feeling is off the charts.
Ikr? It all because those are cold war songs. USA wanted to educate kids for smart capitalist generations. After the cold war theyve changed their politics to make a dumb generation.
Literally, it like it a fun and best way to teach kids about classical music, that how I enjoy classical music as a kids, all because these kind of cartoon which is genius and funny and enjoyable :)
This is an animated tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen who were the first African-American military aviators in the United States Armed Forces. Even the brief image of the fighter plane, the P 40 Flying Tiger was the craft they piloted. During World War II, black Americans in many U.S. states were still subject to the Jim Crow laws and the American military was racially segregated, as was much of the federal government. They're achievement as excellent pilots was recognized fifty years later awarding purple hearts to they're families.
Mistreating the black one and in the end the black one was the one who saved them all. Reminded me of the black ww2 pilots who were one of the best pilots to fight in the war
Everytime I heard this Blue Danube Waltz during the movie Titanic, I quacked. I've seen Titanic in the theaters over 20 times. One time, there was a row of movie goers doing the quacks....
Omg i remember this. Im friigin glad they incorporated music into these cartoons - compared to the made up music in today's cartoons i feel like the new ones just make me more retarded then inhaling Lysol and a Sharpie at the same time.
Happy belated May Day! It's May 3 as I make this post. Something about this classical masterpiece is a picture of May Day,in my opinion-the lively quality of it seeming to be a symbol of rejoicing over the return of spring.
Thank you SO much for this! I haven't seen this for at _least_ 27 years! Aww, man. As a toddler, this was the very first time I ever heard _The Blue Danube._ I remember the intro by Elmer Fudd, "And now we pwesent, the beautiful, Bwoo Danup!" (I think his pants fall down, and he does that laugh, "Huhuhuh!") ...God, that poor wittle ducky! Look how many times he gets abused by that bitch mother goose! 0:53 , 1:10 , 2:10 even _he_ is rejected to be food! WHY? How cruel! 2:35 *_SMASH!!!_* Good GOD! He's still a baby ducky. Have mercy! 2:39 ...and despite ALL that cruelty, rejection and abuse, he tries to revive her, like the caring little sweetie he is. Then rescues her babies like a BADASS! I wonder if he's Daffy Duck as a child? He didn't have a mommy? He just wanted a mommy, maybe that's what made him so bitter and bitchy. lol I FOUND THE WHOLE FILM! ruclips.net/video/zRcctLL_3FQ/видео.html (It's a short film, just 8 minutes, that includes this piece.) It's from 1943, hosted by Elmer Fudd, a "Merrie Melodies" short film. I had so many of these bootlegged on VHS back in the early 80s. This made me so happy. I can't thank you enough!
I have never heard the background music on 0:48-52 in the blue danube. I have listened so many times but i have never heard that part. can someone pls help me. It sounds so soft.
Narrator: “Mama swan looks desperate for her babies, looks everywhere, east, west, south, north, under a big rock, oh there she sees the black duck, smacks the rock back in the water.” Hahahaha, if that is not comedy I don’t know what is
@@khicchik Young men who registered for the draft were categorized by various codes. "1A" was top of the heap (see the scene in "It's A Wonderful Life" where Potter's head of the draft board, examining records and giving everyone a "1A" classification.) 4F was the other end...someone none of the services would want. (In "Life," George was 4F on account of his ear.)
Too bad cartoons stink now! They were incredibly clever and entertaining back in the day, but today much of the material would be considered oh so politically incorrect. Waah!!
+Donna Schnaath I don't think it's so much as cartoons being bad. I think it's more like cartoons trying too hard to be like Looney Tunes and Ren and Stimpy (pick one) and easily offended parents trying to make cartoons tone down their sense of humor. With Looney Tunes, there was no such thing as a children's cartoon or an adult cartoon when theatrical shorts were being produced; instead, cartoons targeted all audiences, hence the lack of vulgar language for children and a variety of gun humor and drug references for adults. With Ren and Stimpy, it came decades before people tried to (and unfortunately succeeded) in making cartoons "politically correct," and it's raunchy humor (that would make SJWs whine a lot) shows what happens when cartoons don't try to be "politically correct."
yes, but in this picture, they were quacking, which makes them ducks. Because Swans don't quack, they honk, or don't make any sound in some species' cases.
This is was the reason for my love for classical music. I was 4 or 5 years old, my mother says she believes that the song was stuck in my head because I kept humming every other day while playing.
I can't believe I found this.. omg childhood nostalgia
Jennyfer Peters same 10 years ago I gave up looking and now 10 years later I finally freaking found it!!!!

The lesson for the people who judge someone by their appearance. And lovely music classic 👍
I've always been so impressed at how they fit specific actions and expressions to each measure of music so expertly.
Great way to educate kids on classic music 😊

I'm 33 now and I was looking for this cartoon precisely.
I'm crying , so beautiful.

All my childhood in this clip
0:48 the first troll face ever
shortly after that, the face on the black duck shows that it was likely a baby version of Daffy. Looks just like him when he makes that face.

When you watch Disney version that made you cry; you find Looney toon verson that make your throat sore from laughing to much
My favorite!

My Childhood best video :\
The secret origin of Daffy Duck!
I owe my love for classical music to these cartoons.
2:08 flew over my head as a kid lol
The fact that the black duck had a messed up voice, big teeth, and got abused by the mommy duck is so messed up. Respect to those black pilots btw.
Black goose: eliminated.
Oh my god I remember this from when I was little..
This cartoon always reminds me my childhood.😢

Auh geese do not "quack".
Stt don't worry about it. 😁
They also got the story wrong, the ugly duck is actually a duck; but don't worry about that. 😁😁
augh the mother is a swan
Baby daffy duck knew how to swim and fly. So...... why can’t he fly or swim anymore??

.
The guys that made these cartoons back then were pure genius
Absolutely brilliant!! Thank you so much for sharing :)
should be Waltz of the Ducks.

I like how the vulture is so innocent, happy, and calm after died. He must be so glad he went to heaven.
