I've got the dragonhawk mast tour and I love it but I don't like that it heats up a bit while running. I'm looking into getting a dedicated liner. I feel like the X7 is another good shader but in wanting to push larger needle configurations. Still though for the price point I my get one as a backup.
Yeah I was never a fan of the mast tour. Mast archer 4.2 max can push big needle groups also the flip pro thou the archer 4.2 will probably have a longer life span.
Great content thanks for sharing. Do they hsve disposable grips for it? Also can you do a video how your wrap the machine? It would be highly appreciated. Thanks again
make reviw DH X2 have good or not, and X1, X2, X5. what different have X serie machine and M serie machines etc M8 , or S11. interesting buy X2 or X5 or S11 what have better.
Would you recommend X7 or the Mast Fold Pro? I've been tattooing for 5 yeas and I'm looking for my first pen machine. I'm looking for something more versatile, since I do lots of fineline, but also big tattoos with lots of shading and want to start making colored works with solid colours, bold lines, etc. So I'm looking for something good for 3RL to solid colours and bold lines! Which would u recommend?
I’m kind of torn between this and the new Ava EP10 as my first wireless machine. The Ava has the edge with the “on the fly” Needle throw adjustment and the fact the Dragonhawk pen seems overly complicated and unclear in explaining how it works. I wish they would hire or at least work with western tattoo artists so that they could get an idea what we want out of a machine. And that would also in return give them a chance to provide clear instructions on how their products work (like for instance the TOTEM mode) literally no one knows what it’s meant for or what it even does. That’s pretty insane to ship a product with a function that know one knows what it’s for 😅
Can you change voltage in increments? compared to the HAWINK CNC-M-WE what are this machine's advantages or dissadvantages to your opinion - experience ? THanks
@@TortugaPH Thank you. Ohh it's very different. This one ai tech built into it. Depending on the setting you set it too its got a different hit. I honestly prefer their other machines to the x series as I find the x series a bit complicated.
@@TortugaPH Thanks for the quick response. Would you recommend this or the mast tour for a first timer like me? I want to do small to medium tattoos with a bit of black and grey shading.
Hi what is the better machine The dragonhawk mast archer or x7 I'm new and have already bought a rocket machine but I'm guessing Dragonhawk might be a better long term option thanks
Like I mentioned on this video the x7 is basically the modernized mast archer with all the new gimmicks. Memory presets. Brushless motor. It's a good machine but the features aren't perfect.
@@TortugaPH thanks broth maybe I'll go with the X7 and then if I need more grunt go for a bigger stroke. I'm new and it's only for hobby. Thanks love your videos I have subscribed 👍
Hmm it's hard to say if it's better than the other. I've learned that some machines are really hit or miss. The latest stuff I've used is definitely a hit. The mast fold pro is great just wish it had more battery. The mast sensor is still my favorite among all DH.
I am a beginner and i want to start my tattoo career. Can you recommend me which machine would be best for me for practice and professional work as well. I am confused between mast archer/ mast X7/ mast fold pro.
@@TortugaPH I appreciate your quick reply. Mast Fold pro also has adjustable strokes and there is no hassle for RCA cable as it is battery powered. Could you please make a review on mast Fold pro. It is depicted as a best seller on the official site.
Totem to~tem Noun. A natural object, or animal that is believed by a particular society to have spiritual significance, and that is adopted by it as an emblem. ~ A person or thing, regarded as being symbolic, or representative of a particular quality or concept : The fast food chains have become totems of Western economic development/the newspaper is seen as a totem of media independence and integrity. Wtf. Whatever. So I was thinking that maybe for some reason, the motor would act harder like a liner set up on a coil machine, and maybe it would have circuitry to soften the motor upon shading to mimic the coil shader with the give Of the correct length and thickness front spring that’s what I was wondering it does feel like the motor weekends a little bit more than my other wireless machines when the needles meet flesh . I’ll tell you what though I’ll never use my coil machines and I’ve been doing this for 20+ years awesome freaking things these wireless pens I Tattooed somebody last year at Block Island in my sailboat you can’t beat that shit
To be honest my review of this is kinda flawed. It's got this ai hit pressure thing that I just didn't understand. I personally don't like the x7 too much. I would rather go for a flip pro or the mast racer. I agree the pens are way easier to use and they do a better more consistent job than coils. I do miss the buzzzzz thou. also the contact screw stuff and bending the armature bar. The ol days.
I think you're missing the entire point of this machine. The settings aren't "pre sets". They're meat for "give". Its an AI functionality that mimics spring/armature bar resistance. To be fair, they don't make that clear at all. And the introductions were written by someone who has a minimal understanding of the English language, but you're using the machine wrong.
Can you link me up sir to the official website ng dragonhawk? I'm just being extra careful sa pag order online ng machine. This is my art account. Thank you so much
I agree it's too complicated. I would've put the machine down more if not for it's price. Like if it were 200+ I would've been really disappointed but it's only 179$. Motor, nice display, and low vibration. Still a decent pick up it's like a fancy archer with imperfect features
That's the word I'm waiting for before buying sir
Your hand will never get tired and low vibrations thanks sir good review

I haven't reviewed those but checkout the ranking 32 machines vid I made
Just unboxed an X7; upon power up it is stuck on a screen with a pause symbol and a timer. Cannot do anything to get to the menu. Anyone?
I thought this machine was all about the electronic give, much like the responsive mode on a Cheyenne Sol Nova?
I tried the presets and didn't find anything different between them. Maybe totem mode. Il double check when I tattoo with it again.
waste only lot money buy cheyenne nova than DH X5 or 7 not any better but waste lot money only.
mast racer , mast fold pro, mast x7 which one is the best packer for everything? lining and shading
I prefer the racer. You can wait for my review if you want.

I've owned both, if you want versatility, the fold is the way to go
Ambition torped is also awesome, but may be a bit hard hitting for what your looking for, it comes with 3 cams, 4, 4.5 and 5mm strokes

I wish they would delete that senseless gimmicks and put a 4,2mm stroke cam into, so it would be their best pen on the market.
