As much as I like Red's and Blue's theme in gen 7, I always felt that it was to happy for who are canonically two of the strongest trainers in the franchise (or at the very least, up there). This tho - this is amazing!

In terms of power creep I think blue is overall in the top list of strongest trainers for sure, they had so much less to work with.
Blue's game cannon team overall base stat total from gen 1 R/B:
Gyarados(480) - Arcanine(455) - Venusaur(425) - Rhydon(440) - Alakazam(405) - Pidgeot(399) = 2604

Which let's take his Venusaur team.
He has in terms of ranking in the top list of base stat total "Non legendary"
Tied for 2nd - Tied for 4th - Tied for 19th - Tied for 8th - 1st Special tied 4th speed - Weak bird to make his team a bit easier.
No other trainer had a team that stacked at the end of the day. His weakness coverage is pretty great too. Not much overlap.
To add to this. If we were to include his firered rematch team it gets even more impressive. Removing Pidgeot and Rhydon his 2 most exploitable mons for a freaken Tyranitar and Heracross.. Which sure have 4x but are super strong pokemon.

Holy crap, you can just FEEL the sheer overwhelming pressure emanating from this theme. It makes you feel like you made a mistake challenging Red/Blue, but you’re in too deep to run now; and it’s within this trapped feeling and paralyzing fear from standing against the greatest in the world that you find yourself uncontrollably shaking from…excitement.
Holy hell, considering how tough both - Blue & Red - are every time you face them in battle, this remix-combo underlines it all the more. I'd be scared shitless hearing that ingame, especially if they'd throw out a team as strong as Red in HGSS / Cynthia in BDSP or give them a Volo-like fight. This is fantastic work Galax. You did a very, very amazing job.

I would always name my rival in pokemon red after my cousin because Me and him grown up together and had a bit of a childhood rivalry

I'm imagining a game darker than legends arceus, but with similar concepts.
Pokemon Legends: Mewtwo
You go through kanto again, but the story changes compared to the original games.
After battling and defeating Giovanni, he desperately asks you to find and fight mewtwo, as he lost control of it
You go to do that, but get completely annihilated by mewtwo
Eventually, after becoming champion and defeating blue, you are able to fight mewtwo again, and are defeated just as easily
Before you black out, Mew arrives to help
Was the clone really an improvement, or will the ancestor of all pokemon succeed?
I really like how you combined the descending notes in Red's theme with the rising notes in Blue's theme. It really shows how they're different but still similar.
Red and blue are peak character concept. Blue is the pure form of a rival that pokemon never captured again. WIth maybe only the exception of N in black/white. And Red is basically the human mascot of pokemon.
Id like to imagine that this is what the champion before blue heard coming out of the hall of fame after unregistering his pokémon

I have the perfect thing for this. AN EPIC STORY!
Two rivals, they were so close they were seen as brothers by the rest of people in their home town.
Their names were Red and Blue.
These two were given their starter pokèmon by Blue's grandfather, Professor Oak.
Their battle was short but sensational to the old timer.
3 whole years has passed.
The duo stands on MT Silver together, battling until the other Submits.
Red being the winner, blue left the moutain, pissed.
Soon a ten year old boy named Ethan\Gold challenged Red.
Ethan\gold won the battle, but without anyone knowing Blue watched, even more pissed than before that he lost to Red that lost to some kid
Blue made a evil team to get stronger by gaining the power of Giratina.
1 year has passed since Blue created team Aoi, he has found and captured Giratina by traveling to the sinnoh region.
Red seeing Blue after a year, he says "Hey, Blue, how's it going?"
Blue yells at Red, saying "Challenge me now, you crimson idiot!"
The legendary battle begins, shaking the ground near, splitting the clouds as the two legendary trainers duel, Ethan\Gold watched in awe.
Silver soon arrives saying "This battle is... Is sensational" being the same words that professor oak said 4 years ago, Blue snapped back into his senses
Blue breaks down but soon loses the battle but in the end He smiles and hugs his Best friend and rival.

No, they don't. It sounds like they are saying something but that's just how it sounds. It has different styles of phrases.
