Maybe I'll check the amped sound of my telecaster with a hole stuffed or covered😐 At least density and weight of the body's materials have a great effect on the sound, so hollow vs solid body makes a difference. Talking about resonance of the hole, I'm not sure. When amped, my resonator sounds like ordinary acoustic guitar but not exactly the same.
Hollowbodies will feedback more easily if you're playing amped and they can sound quite nasty if you use too much distortion. Semi hollows are much closer to solidbodies than hollowbodies for playing with an amp.
The Thinline sounds open and fresh, the Solid Body sounds like it’s stuffed with marshmallows 🤷🏻 As long as you’re playing, I don’t really care what model is in your lap!!
Your playing is lovely as always. What I wanted to know however, was if hollow vs solid body makes a difference in the amped sound.
It does make a huge difference tone wise if you aren't going for a clean tone
Yes of course it does, that's why hollow body and semi hollow electric guitars have been around for a long time
not really a lot of it is pseudo, however the hollow bodies do feedback more

The sound hole guitar sounds fill the room. You need both.
There’s much echo and reverb with the hole
That's what she said
Dyum
It gives it a more acoustic tone with the sound hole.
中空な方が音が響くから外のマイクで拾うにはいい……ってそれアコギやないかーい!
ってこと?
If nothing else, the semi-hollow body is lighter :) I prefer the tone, as well!
I kind of like the solid body sound more :) Both are good though.

マイクが良いとホロウでなくてもしっかり拾ってくれるのですね。
何ならソリッドの方が良いまである。

I think
1st one: rusty, maybe a bit metallic (due to echo) a lot brighter than 2nd one
2nd one: more damped
