I honestly love the character development of Do yoeng. This scene shows he's not just a CEO in a suite. I think he's a very good actor, I can feel the emotions behind the TV screen. Not sure how he hasn't got famous yet.
I read somewhere (in Korean language, written by Knet) he is a theater actor. He mostly performed on stage before this. Only around 3 years ago I found him in other series but not a lead role. Seriously, stage actor charisma is different. They swept audiences like a storm, if they want to.
Just a few things... First of all, Jung Sung Ill's entire body acts and emotes with him. His ears get red while expressing extreme anger. Just wow, how he can control not his expressions but his body too. Second, there are times Park Sung Hoon looks way too younger and a twin brother of B1A4's Jung Jin Young. Mind you, they are 6 years apart. It amazes me so much. And last, the lawyer friend of Jae Jun needs to be applauded for his impeccable comedic timing and his lowkey roasts while he is giving Jae Jun 'legal advice'. He not only the voice of reason but actually represents all of us.
At first it killed it me seeing do yeoung be hit first but in reflection it makes sense as he would never lose his control or resort to violence. he only reacted once he'd been hit and then completely destroyed him 😂😂😂
In truth that was the only way Jae-Jun was going to get him is through a sneak attack. The moment Yeoung got his footing and was prepared he completely owned him. I loved this scene so much. Not only was it refreshing to see Jae-Jun finally get his ass beat, but it shown even though Yeoung is always polite and composed, he can cut lose when it’s necessary.
when CEO first saw dong eun scars she told him to leave yeom jin but he said no,i think the reason is not because he l0ves yeom jin but because he knows already that ye sol is not his real daughter so if he divorce yeon jin hi is goiny to lost the power to have ye sol and he knows ye sol will b3 the one to suffer most when everything will b3 expose
It's kinda sad it took this long for him to get his ass handed to him by someone he couldn't intimidate. Wonder what'd happened if he went up against the kids of chaebol families.
Like the detail with how gentle Do yeong is towards his lawyer after the first hit. He pats his hands. In contrast with Jae Jun who is forever an asshole 😂
This scene is so absolutely satisfying. The fight was so well choreographed! Not flashy at all, but a little grimy and not drug out to the point that it is super unrealistic. They weren't shrugging off blows like it was nothing and were actually winded. I especially loved that super quick jab at 01:30 that snapped his head back. I guess it is harder to fight someone his own size, not a girl, and without friends backing him up. I remember just thinking "Finally, someone is beating his ass" when watching this episode.
Do Yeong is the rightful Father of Ye Sol even if she was born out of an extramarital affair/there is no blood relation. She's also the only one she would care to recognise
My older brother who's not a very big fan of kdrama, i recommend this to him, and he liked it very much, and when part 2 came out both of us watched it together, and when this scene came up, he was literally shouting, "take that u son of a b###h, now whose the man huh"....we really enjoyed it, and right after this show he told me to recommend more shows like this, so i told him to watch, Revenge of others, and now he's in episode 3.... he's really liking it😂😂
This scene is so pleasing! Do Yeong is a south paw! Fighting with both left and right hands interchanging between blows! The gut punch was enough to empty anyone bowels and the right jab to nose totally caught him off guard. He should have know he was dealing with a real boxer the moment he sucker punched him and got hit with that hard left hook to the face! Totally lethal! 😅
This is one of the most satisfying scenes of the series. Like what you have done to others either good or bad, it’ll all come back to you ten fold. This is like the start of it for Jaejun.
Dong Eun chose to inform Jae Jun to let the freak meet another freak. That was 101% awesome decision. The real difference between the two is that one is a legacy, with strong family and upbringing. Mother father school fencing martial arts (probably Taekwondo being Korea). This was so satisfying to watch, I was waiting for someone to beat JJ's ass to the point he wouldn't even dare to look up. Do Yeong killed him at the end because he doesn't want his daughter to find out later that he's her real father, he killed him to protect her from him. She might be not his biological daughter but she's definitely his daughter for the way he loves and protects her, she has one father and he's Do Yeong and he made sure that won't change in the future.
That's right. He really care his daughter a lot even though he know the truth. He is the right one to be Ye Seol's father. Just because that jerk related to her doesn't mean he can be father to her. At the end when he decided to sealed the secret forever, it's really satisfying to me.
This scene makes me want to see Jung Sung-il and Park Sung-hoon in the same drama again (with Park Sung-hoon as the male lead and Jung Sung-il as the bad guy).

I really admire Do Yeoung's restraint. Like, even here, with someone claiming to be his daughter's Father who had just beat a man half to death in front of her eyes, he doesn't throw the first punch. He's mostly playing defence, even giving JJ a few chances to stop, and only after he keeps coming does he give him just enough of a beating to stop.
Sad that both of these actors dont get more recognition and fame in real life. I thought JJ performance in the drama was top notch, so was Do-Yeong's. But their instagram followers are not high at all, plus I never really heard of them before... DY I first knew through a small role in Our Blues, and there he was great too, despite very little screen time. As for Park Sung Hoon (Jae Jun), never heard of him before... but he was brilliant in this drama, together with Myong O
You know just when I had started to respect Jaejun a little he gets angry and calls D a loser…. Although I love that he knew she wouldn’t run him over! In another world she’d take the other guy as her husband.
It's so sad it took this long for JJ to get a proper beat down. One of the most throughly enjoyed scenes of the drama. I was shaking my head at the overconfidence of JJ but then his ego wouldn't let him comprehend that there's someone superior than him. Also he doesn't have any survival instinct at all or else he'd know when to stop pushing DY and use brains. JJ would have a sliver of respect for JJ instead of disdain. I think that's why he wouldn't let YS go (along with the fact that he truly loves her but to let her be raised by someone like JJ would be unconscionable).
I just watched Big Mouth before this drama and wondered if the said worlds would've co-existed. JJ would've been in jail or somewhere dead. It was infuriating to see those bullies but more infuriating to see everyone was living a lavish life without a care.

Yes exactly 💯jae Jun parents truly failed in the parenting department
Jaejun may be the father but Doyeong will forever be Yesol's daddy
When you pull the first punch but the other dude knows ufc hahaha
Do young has got some skills
I just watched Big Mouth before this drama and wondered if the said worlds would've co-existed. JJ would've been in jail or somewhere dead.
It was infuriating to see those bullies but more infuriating to see everyone was living a lavish life without a care.
WHY DID I FIND THIS SO HOT?! Especially the way Do-Yeong fought. 😩🤚
This was the first time Jaejun got his ass beat and THIS IS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR
So this is it. One uses brute force and scare tactics gets beaten by the latter who fights level-headed.
*유재석 vs 이강인 웅장이 가슴해진다 ㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷ*
Jae-Jun getting whooped was top-tier
Do-yeong: "Come on! You call this a fight?"
