I wonder what would happen if you made a riff on guitar and have it set to backwards on loop. Than recorded over the backwards loop in real time playing the same riff you did before but backwards but off centered by one note
this is a really interesting idea-- i've been thinking about how i would go about this for the last few hours. i think I'll try doing something like this in an upcoming video! thanks for listening and sharing your idea :)
Beautiful, could listen to this all day! Are you recording audio straight into a DAW? Also guitar tone is spot on, do you mind sharing if your set up for recording guitar?
thank you for listening :) yes! i am recording directly into DAW. for my guitar setup, I plugged directly into a fender super champ xd (a tube amp w/ digital fx onboard), then used the line out on that into a line-level looper w/ synthesizers. this was also my first time w/ this setup and i was very positively surprised by the guitar tone! glad you dug it :)
ah! i must add, the LVX from meris what I'm using as a looper, and it's also primarily a delay pedal so you're getting that delay ambience on top of the loops.
thanks for listening! the only eq i'm using here is a 60ish hz highpass to get rid of any unnecessary bass rumbles. other than that, i do a little bit of gain normalization in post (manually bringing down peaks, giving quieter sections a lil boost, etc). that's it :)
This is so good and soothing, without being melancholic. Thank you!
i'm so glad you enjoyed it :) thanks for listening!

@@logan.m Thank you very much! Great setup, hoping to see more with the guitar in the future :)
Love your sound! Where did you find that strap if you don't mind me asking?
thank you for the kind words :) original fuzz straps based out of nashville -- my favorite brand for years now
how are you EQing this?
