◤Ciao! I'm Sofie. Originally from the States, I've been living in Italy for a total of 6 years now with my Italian husband. We were first based in Rome and we have now been in Florence for 2 years and we just welcomed our new baby girl!

Not me tearing up 🥹 reminiscing on these early moments with my own daughter 😭😭😭! She’s almost 3 now. The early days are sooo rough but they also make you realize how strong you are (as a mama especially) AND they create such a magical bound too 💕💕💕. Enjoy all the cuddles, and do whatever works for you, baby & the family. You’re doing amazing, mama 💪🏽

What a wonderful video ❤. As a fellow mama that has also experienced feeding difficulties. Give yourself grace, there are so many emotions attached to feeding your baby, and the whole thing can feel really overwhelming. If your baby is still on a feeding strike, I found pumping on one side at a time, while snuggling my baby skin to skin on the other side made pumping easier and helped my milk supply. Sometimes baby will smell your milk and even decide to start nursing again. I hope all is well and you are enjoying these early days ❤

You’re doing a great job as a mama! My first son went on a nursing strike after the nurses at the hospital gave him a few supplemental bottles after birth, without my knowledge. With my next two, we had a sign in the bassinet that said NO BOTTLES. :). Some babies just get spoiled very easily with the ease of bottle feeding.

My son was on a 'nursing strike' which was incredibly stressful for everyone. It turns out he was tongue-tied and we had to get the tie fixed. I didn't even know what it was a thing until we had it checked out. Lots of stress and tears at the time.
