I am a size 14 pant, so the tie method did not work for me. So I cut my big leaves in half at the top, and hot glued them to my ribbon, instead of elastic. I let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour and tied to to my waist. It looked perfect! The head band and bracelets did fine, though I just used plain black bracelts instead of elastic bands. Thanks, Stephanie for the idea!
I'm 13 and I'm being LILO while my cousin is stitch and my mom is the older sister. This tutorial helped me a lot with figuring out how to make the costume thanks.
Hi Noah, the measurements I used for my costume was the skirt elastic measured 34 inches, the bracelets and anklets measured 7 inches. Just keep in mind these measurements are made to fit me. You will have to adjust your measurements to fit yourself. If you are talking about the leafs then the length of one big leaf is 14 inches and the widest point of the width is 6 inches. The small leaf measures 3.5 inches in length and the widest point of the width is 1.5 inches. Hope this help :)
HI Gracie, I used 2 yards of fleece to fit my measurements. MAYBE you can get away with 1.5 yards of fleece if you use the scraps from the big leaves to make the small ones. I personally like to have extra material, just in case but it's your call.
Hi Derpy Unicorn, I made an updated video on this tutorial with all measurements included. the link to the video is in the description box. Hi Avery, I got it at Forever a few months ago. Don't forget you can always make one. Take a red t-shirt cut it to size, pull the cut ends to tightened them and there you have a crop top
Hey Vivianna Martinez, yeah you can definitely use hair ties instead. I'd just recommend to use some that won't fit too tight around your wrists or ankles or else they'd feel uncomfortable after awhile.

Can you use a hair tie instead for the bracelet and possibly the anklets?
