Or better yet songs that were not chosen during album preparation - would just be fine. Even this cover of Boa's song was interesting to watch. Injecting powerful moves made it a lot better. Key always outshines his back up dancers. Key solo stages are always fun, interesting and good to watch. And better yet....Onew and Minho - record sinle. Onew - this guy, has really good voice tone (I wonder why Onew would not - perhaps, better timing I suppose... Minho too has good tone. All of them are in fact are good singers.
Now honestly, it's not about Key's dancing here because the choreo of 'Born to shine' isn't more difficult or totally different from 'LookBook'. What makes 'Born to shine' incomparable is Key himself. In 'Bts' he is a bold, dazzling and deadly charming Diva and we cannot take our eyes off him. In 'LookBook' he is a nice and sweet young boy without that sparkle/ Diva effect anymore. I think Key is trying to offer a new image to the public and it's quite opposed to a Diva. Whether we like it or not, the Diva Key's era ended. If he is more comfortable with this new image that serves his goals better and his self esteem is higher then we should be glad for him and btw he is a great dancer anyway.
Everyone is restricting him to something by calling him a Diva. He is not. He wasn't in Born to shine either, so can people move on from that nickname already? He is not just that. He is so much more.
Why do you think that saying Diva to Key means something that shrinks him down to less? On the contrary, it's recognition of that X factor or 'je ne sais quoi' quality of him as stage performer. If you take 'diva' in a pejorative or ironic sense or it has other meaning for you, it's your problem.
While streaming everyone was like "there are models wearing key's clothes he wore in his Instagram pictures" and I thought it was a kind of ramp walk 😂 turns out it isn't it exactly BUT KEY OH HIS MOVEMENTS DAYUM
