Juanita Coco (1975 - 1993) | Young Talent Time

Juanita Suzanne Coco (10 December 1975 - 2 May 1993) was an Australian singer and actress who was a regular on the talent and variety television show, Young Talent Time. She appeared from 1987 to 1988, from the age of 11 to 13. Among other cover versions, she provided her rendition of the song, "La Bamba". Coco was often paired with Joey Dee for duets. She had replaced Vanessa Windsor on the show and was the 35th member to join. After the show's demise, Coco worked with a professional cover band on a regular basis until her final VCE year. She then formed a young band, Milk, who were working on original songs and about to start performing at the time of her death in 1993.

No rhyme or reason for such tragic loss don't know how you are able to go on with ur life after a horrific blow like this. Beautiful girl her life stolen by a drunk driver. It happens but this time its someone we know not just a stat.

@@kathleenmaclachlan1541 the way the media presents these losses is in such dehumanising manner and very statistically focused so that term "stat" its plain cold and without human elements. We hope we never nor know anyone who has that label ever upon ever.
