When deploying everything on Docker, such as the Zabbix Proxy and SNMPTrap on the same host machine, do we still need to utilize a script or if SNMPTrap functionality is built into the Docker image itself?
Nope. Docker images use snmptt
Its not creating log file in path /var/log/snmptrap/snmptrap.log
It is becouse you need to send trap mesage first
Why do we need to catch the non-matching traps ?
To avoid any human errors. Situations like when you think that all is good, but actually regexp doesn't match and item will never receive the data + trigger will never fire
why not use docker?
majority of people use good old packages
