How come That Judy Tzkuy Pom hasn't released any new songs here in years?. The song Stay with me till dawn is older than what I am, but her voice sounded amazing. Wayne Holmes from Sydney, Australia.
Doesn't seem so! Countdown's Paul Turner was doing the night shift on Melbourne's 3XY while also on Countdown, and left for a TV venture in early 1980. Read more about it from this Gavin Wood interview: www.countdownmemories.com/exclusive_interviews/gavin_wood.html Warner's Paul Turner was Warner's Australian head in 1979, and was still Warner's head when Cold Chisel trashed the set at the 1981 Countdown/TV Week Music Awards, according to the book 'Cold Chisel: The Pure Stuff', by Anthony O'Grady. It seems, according to the link provided, Countdown's Paul Turner passed away three years after he left Countdown. I know I have the episode, sometime between March and May 1980, where Molly thanks Paul for his work, and welcomes Gavin to the show, I'll find the mention and send you the link!
Indeed, it appears Turner's last Countdown was probably April 13, 1980 (just a month before I was born!!), and Gavin Wood's first was April 20, as Molly acknowledges the changeover in this Top 10 clip: ruclips.net/video/ImObdaJZ6N8/видео.html
He was just a friendly, nice guy and can be credited with the success of many of the artists of that time including Abba, and as said above, he's gay lol

Poor old bon Scott died only a week or so before this.. What a shame he missed out on all the glory that he deserved from doing all the hard yards
If you’ll stay with me till dawn; wow! you just want to be there; what a fox❤
Rupert Holmes looks like my year 8 science teacher at karaoke on a Friday night 😜
Couldn't think of a better explanation. He was the last person to look like a Top 40 singer.

Vaxman80 Cool thanks for your research. I also have this Countdown, and yes it would be the last one before Gavin took over the reigns.
Presenters a bit of a crawler ,holding Judie tzukes hand and asking for a kiss
He's gay
If he held her hand now he and the ABC would be sued for sexual harrassment
Dude molly was into chicks. So he wasn’t a mud man back then.
Really Molly ….I don’t know about women’s lib ?
My God. That presenter is very predatory, he won't leave poor Judi alone.
Molly is gay.. She was safe as
