There’s a highway C-470 that a segment of it runs parallel to the Rocky Mountains, and every winter strong down gusts from the mountains, tip over some semi-trucks. Similar to this 21:29. And if the roads are icy.. well, then its ice skating time. I happened to experience one of these wind storms in a sedan car. Everyone slowed down and lined up in the right lane, and got out of it safely.
8:10 Car sliding down the road should have let go of the breaks as crazy as it sounds. You will only slide if you hold you breaks down and lock up your tires. You will only get traction if the tires are moving. Knowledge from years of driving in Canadian winters.
9:45 - Disagree with "ice driving comes down to driver capability." It comes down to what's touching the road -- your tires. You can help or hurt quite a bit, but but no amount of expertise can make up for bad tires. To wit, I experienced a nearly identical situation to this video when I was a teenager. My family had just got snow tires for the season when a snow storm hit and froze over the mountain road we had to drive on. We went right up the mountain like it was a warm summer day, passing several people who were spinning and sliding backwards. The SUV in this video wasn't doing anything wrong before they lost grip. They just had crappy tires that couldn't get purchase on the road, whereas our cammer probably had nice, fresh snow tires. It's genuinely amazing how much difference having dedicated winter tires makes. Like night and day -- or, better stated, like driving down the road or sliding off of it.

Sooner than later, the concerned Indian Legislatures and Executive Bodies, will no longer be able to justify expenditures to bail them out. The Citizens of that State will have to abandon it, as they're running out of vital terrain to sustain livelihoods. The only value remaining, will be the barest of bones, in terms of infrastructure essential to India's security and defense.
Excellent. Live long and prosper.😇🖖❤
It's chasing you 😂😂😂
Was the crane ship captain a Navy DEI hire?
No, but you're racist.
The bridge collapse! 😮
Am I the only one that noticed the motorcyclist on the left of the screen falling with the truck when they were just inches from safety?
@@jenniferlindsey2015 No me too I just made another comment about this. They were so close I think they hit their head on the ledge. The only good thing about that is that they were close to one side instead of the middle. Might be one of the 3 to survive (I realize this has such a low chance, but it is true)
Loved this one! The part at 4:10 was my favorite-so funny
The drunk guy listening to a Magic the Gathering podcast LOL
Not exactly the drunk driver. But the taxi driver was listening/watching the professor/tolarian community college.
7:10 While we're focussed on the truck falling into the water, there's a person walking on the bridge on the left hand side who disappears with it when it collapses!
Can you do a compilation on micro bursts (not derecho storms) I’ve been through two of them and I feel like they follow me at this point lol. I never see much on them so I think they’re pretty rare in my experience. Santa Barbara CA microburst and Angleton TX microburst were the one’s I personally experienced.
9:48 that was absolute skill no panicking padding the breaks going backwards and keeping just enough slant to have other car slide by..I thought he took corner too fast but it was to get enough enertia to get up that hill he wasn't going to make it up anyways but wow very impressive. He lucked out because no one was behind him
People don't understand how much less a new barrier costs compared to a train hitting your car. Don't stay on the tracks guys.
Put in low gear and lift your foot off the brake pedal @09:00
fear blocks😂
The guy running away from the wave in the first clip made me think of Ryan O'neal's memed bad line delivery of "Oh, man. Oh God" from 'Tough Guys Don't Dance' 😁
Omg the bridge collapse.. you can see a person on a scooter in the left lane almost making it to the end of the bridge.. I mean they just barely missed getting to safety by inches. I feel like I could even see their arms reach out to grab the edge just before falling. Holy sh*t 😔
19:35 Ngl hes right, that booster was a disaster. Absolute ass set 😂😂
It's amazing the shot at 1:01 is beautiful
Amazing clips...
Just so you know... The M6 is the oldest motorway in the UK... Not the M1
I see how that ship-to-crane-to-crane mishap in Taiwan may have caused some damage costs, but it was a hell-of-a way to avoid some demolition costs.😂
I would believe every one of those moments even if it wasn't filmed.
Segment #1: The guy wasn't filming. It's highly unlikely he was using a film camera.
1:56 Anyone know what plant that is to the right side, in front of the dark coloured building?
12:27 the smoke ring is the coolest shit ever because what are the actual odds that could happen? As an ex vaper, its kinda tricky to do it good enough to keep the ring shape and that was massive and had to deal with air, very amazing to see.
"Article", when there used to be more Cigar & Pipe smokers, they could easily generate smoke thick enough to make rings, all the time.
2:37 that’s craze, I never saw anyone run backwards so fast! 👀
Lol I know, I came to say exactly that. He was faster than others running forwards. Maybe he was holding the camera facing back over his shoulder, and had a good gimbal.
1:01 Guy with the long hair blue t-shirt was never seen again...🤣🤣
09:19 are we just gonna ignore the car on the right ice skating around as well... 😂😁😅
6:14 The aftermath of the storm is even more terrifying than the storm itself. Does anyone know if everyone in that truck survived?😬
Idk how they could but I hope
@@JiraiyaSanninPervySage I hope so too 🥲
1:54 Is that Arnie operating the camera while running from the water? Waiting for him to shout 'Get to the choppa!'
Hi
Thanks for an interesting video
The ► Music Licensed From SoundStripe/Envato Elements does not specify precisely what music you are using. Can you be more specific, please?
Thanks and merry X-mas
8:32 "By some miracle"? That wasn't luck that was impressively calm and skilled driving.
Wind blows big trucks quite often, esp on mountain roads.
Atheists say Oh my god. It's automatic from learning.
FYI the M1 is not the oldest motorway in the UK, it was built in 1959, the M6 which is the oldest, was built in 1959 😊
ur camera man is everywhere😅
Great Video, keep it Up!
The tow truck driver must have been lights out when towing that SUV. There's no other explanation for his driving. 😮
Rogue wave cameraman should be in film for managing to capture that on video while also outrunning the wave
