Cameroon is growing
The area is very nice and well planned except for lack of side walks, but the style of the building is outdated. Cameroonian builders should take a cue from Nigeria for inspiration and upgrade in modern architecture.
Well if that's what they want and it makes them happy that's all that matters 😃
What do you mean by outdated? In Nigeria are all the houses modern? You build what you like. Go to London or Paris, those cities are not modern but we praise them everyday. Most of their houses are similar and built long time ago but you can't compare any with cities in Nigeria which you think are modern. Is Lagos modern? I mean the whole of Lagos. If an African country has good infrastructures like the ones in this video throughout, it will be ranked one of the best regardless of whether the buildings are modern or not. Buckingham Palace in UK isn't modern nor White House in USA but they're not complaining.
For me,i prefer from far the system of Cameroon where not all of the houses look the Same; In rich area in Nigeria,they have the european system where all the houses look the Same. The only problem in oder for Cameroonians area to look beautiful in my Opinion are the Roads.
The Style is not outdated but a very beautiful Cameroonians style; there is just a big lack of Good roads. In Nigeria,you have your Style,in south Africa they have their style, in kenya,they have their style etc...

Tout ça c'est beau. De belles et grandes maisons bien construites, des quartiers neufs qui sortent de terre, mais zéro électricité, zéro eau, zéro infrastructures routières, ni ponts, ni chaussées, ni voies asphaltées, ni routes bitumées, encore moins pavées. Zéro sécurité, haute corruption épidémique, éducation scolaire à la peine, dictature sans fin, guerre dans le NOSO, autant de problèmes à gérer dans ce pays dont les populations peinent à avoir les 3 repas par jours. Et dire que c'est mon pays. J'ai honte pour le Cameroun.

Et dans quel pays au monde il n'y a pas tout ce que tu cite la? Arrêté un de toujours voir noir. Si tu es trop fâché personne ne t'empêche de commencer le développement, on vas te suivre. Même les pays occidentaux font fasse aux mêmes problèmes, j'en sais quelque chose. Mais la différence avec eux c'est qu'ils cherchent des solutions et non critiqués tout le temps.
