That was a great tutorial, thank you for sharing! I just got a set of Stabilo 88, but was anaware they are water-based, as I have only done stippling with alcohol-based fine liners. Do you have any paper recommendation to minimize the bleeding?
I am just more intentional about the placement of dots and allow the bleeding to work for me. Learn to utilize your white space with a tad more planning.
Hi Jim amazing work and amazing tutorials. I started doing stippling back in 2019 a year after graduating high school after seeing some stipple artwork on Instagram. I wanted to give it a shot and I fell in love using the technique. I found your channel out of curiosity in search of ways I could use to improve my stippling since I taught myself to stipple, but I always wanted to do better. I'm almost there, but I just need that extra push to help me improve. I tried different ways of stippling, but after watching your 2 intro videos I think I have found what I was missing. I'm going to try your way and see how it goes for me. All my artworks are on my instagram page @mr_shy_guy99 if you happen to have one and want to see what I've done. Also would you consider doing a tutorial on hair/fur? That's something I've always struggled with.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Mute! My biggest suggestion is just to start - so you're already there! After I finish my snail tutorials, I'll give it a try with a person or furry animal so that I can teach hair! Keep it up and happy stippling!
you deserve a lot of subscribers
because you are doing what no one has done on RUclips before.....
thank you for sharing your knowledge with us

I'm also an aspiring pointillist I hope I could also share my artworks
That's great Aceee. Keep it up! I went to your channel, but I don't see any artwork there.
