Very good videos keep it up! The lean angle looks insane. Can I ask about what tyres are you using? I have the same bike and I was thinking to replace my Rosso IV with Rosso IV Corsa but couldn't find any reviews specifically for zx14 & rosso IV Corsa. I am worried about the milage, I expect to get less milage compared to Rosso IV but how much less exactly. Any experience on this topic?
Thanks!! So in this video, I believe I was running the RS11 Bridgestone tires, 190/55 rear. Those tires hands down, one of the best tires I've ran on this bike. But it did go quick. I've also ran S22 and S23 several times. Only got about 2k miles. The side of the tire would disappear before the center. Opposite problem with the RS11s. I've also tried the Road 5's, which lasted much longer, but I wasn't as aggressive with them back then. I've never tried any Pirellis to compare, but I will say the Bridgestone seem to have a harder carcass, which compliments the bikes weight. I would recommend the S23s, if you have to travel far for the twisties. On the highway, you should get really good mileage out of them due to the hard center compound. The RS11's just felt like a cheat code, any money well spent, in my opinion. I've also enjoyed the Michelins GPs (GP2 out now). Super pricey, but they did give the best of both worlds with performance and longevity. If money, wasn't a factor, I'd probably would be running those GP2 right now. However, after running those RS11's, I don't wanna put on anything else, if I'm going to be cornering all day. Lastly, I recently took on a 2 day, 1K mile Hyper tour ride, full of twisties, and I went back to the S23, because I knew the RS11's would not have lasted. I hope this helps.
